My favorite Aeon, without question is Vaelfor. She is awesome! It broke my heart I had to fight her near the end... V_V
And my eidolon from FFIX is.... I'd have to say Pheonix or Fenrir.

Interesting because Kyou''s FF Theology Thread Valefor - In demonology Valefar is a Duke of Hell. He tempts people to steal and is in charge of a good relationship among thieves, but later he brings them to the gallows. Valefar is considered a good familiar. He commands ten legions of demons. He is represented as a lion with the head of a man, or as a lion with the head of a donkey. ^ ^ Mine would be Anima, and Phoenix. Anima because of how I conider her the most passionate summon in the entire Final Fantasy series, something thats hard to describe without RPing it. .___.'' And Phoenix because I use him so often in some RPs, and through that I''ve become very attached.

From games I've played...
VI (Espers)- Dunno, I NEVER used them.... VII (Summons)- Choco/Mog, thanks to him I can completely destroy the materia keeper mrgreen VIII (GFs)- Tonberry or Cactuar, I just laugh at their animations xd IX (Eidolons)- Bahamut X (Aeons)- Ifrit
I can never get over the fact of how AWESOME Odin would've been as an Aeon in FFX sweatdrop

I think X deserved more summons - -' The mainstream ones, Valefor, Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut, and Ixion were great, but I would have liked it if there were more hidden fayths like Anima, Yojimbo, and the Magus Sisters. I would have loved to see Phoenix, Leviathan, Alexander, Odin, and other oldies come back.
I thought VIII had a great summoning system. Thats the thing I liked most about VIII, its battle system. I thought it rocked. *purs* The more and more I think about it, the better I like its storyline too. Its strange, at first I thought the story was terrible, and now I think its fantastic. ^ ^"

Strange. At first I hated FFVIII, and then steadily grew to adore it.
And at first, I loved FFVII's storyline, and then grew to think it just didnt have enough for me. : /
Strange how that happens. ^ ^'

Umh..... Bahamut?
Really, I don't like one specifically, and 6's are too many to cont them all.......
though, the dragons (Bahamut and Leviathan, in all of their incarnations) and those multi-elemental (Tritoch in 6, Kujata in 7) anre my favorite......
And I can't stop amusimg myself with the holy Alexander and how Crusader became Knights of the Round.........
Haven't played 8 nor 9 to the end, and haven't ever played 10, 11, or 12..... (10-2 in barely a battle that I lost, so it doesn't count)
My reccomendation for stoy-lovers: play FF6 and forget about the 3-D graphics.

FFVI: ...Don't Remember.
FFVII: BahamutZERO just because he's all cool... Shooting from space, and whatnot.
FFVIII: Bahamut just because I love me that Bahamut.
FFIX: Fenrir ... I love Norse Mythology, so Fenrir is awesome.
FFX: Yojimbo, just because he's a Samurai, and because Yojimbo is actually just the name used in a series of movies starring the same guy as the same character. (Yojimbo is the name of the movie, and the name the guy chooses to use when he goes to a town. In the movie "Sanjuro" it's the same guy who used the name Yojimbo, just using the name Sanjuro in a different town. Same actor, same character, different names). There's other movies he's in, like the original "The Seven Samurai".
FFXI: Fenrir, because... Fenrir!
ALL: Odin. Norse Mythology smile

Akira Kurosawa-sensei madnesssssssss!!!!!!! *calms down* Ok, to be sincere, "Yojimbo" literally means "Bodyguard", and FFX's yojimbo is a mercenary ronin. (What can you think of a "samurai" who attacks only if you pay him? very honorable? I don't think so). Anyway, I simply love Sanjuro, though I haven't seen Yojimbo....... Some time ago, I found a 4-DVDs pack with movies from Kurosawa-sensei at around 120 dollars or so...... I lust for it........... Other thing, I remember watching a Kurosawa-sensei's movie about an actor suplanting a Shogun and leading the land and the court quite well.... does anybody know the movie's name? sweatdrop =^_^=

Nope, I sure don't.
Yes, I knew Yojimbo means bodyguard, but I was under the impression they used it as the Yojimbo from the movie... Dressing him up and giving him the dog and whatnot.
Seven Swords looks like an awesome movie though.
