I was looking around for a free MMO to join. Everyone has told me that Anarchy Online is fantastic, but I'm more into fantasy. I was looking at Archlord and Darkeden. Any suggetions?

wellllll......its free and one of those ever addicting ones you gotta put years of your life to waste in order to become a high level expert at the game and blablabla but it is simple yet entertaining and gives lots and lots of different kinds of skills and such to level up in an interesting way, you may have heard of this its called runescape www.runescape.com

I just found an ok fantasy game called guardia, It doesn't have the best graphics but the gameplay is pretty good and the other players and mods are really nice.

trickster is awesome, and it's actually worth it to pay to play WoW. www.ijji.com has a lot of stuff, but also here's a big compilation for you.

trickster (is fun and requires less grinding than other games)
runescape (is boring but addictive)
lunia
maplestory (addictive, immense amount of grinding, a*****e players)
FlyFF
illutia
silkroad (is very good all around, except for overcrowded servers)
guild wars (kind of free)
ragnorak (on player operated servers)
conquer (not recommended)
dream of mirror
battledawn
ghost online
Dragonfable and Adventurequest (shudder)

I know a half a dozen more I've played but can't remember their names...

Have you ever heard of Darkeden? It's a Vampire vs Human vs Anonymous Other Monster. i'd like to play it, except the potential for assholery is mighty high Pretty much once you leave the safe ground, the other more powerful players can pick you off. It's almost all PvP, so you go around looting other players and occasionally fighting big monsters (at least from what I understand. I could be wrong as I've forgotten a lot about what I read on their website).

I've recently found a new mmorpg i've been playing called Holic, it's pretty cool. Someone already mentioned FlyForFun and Runescape. Some other favs I have are Perfect World International (awesome graphics for a free game) and Last Chaos. There are tons of others, I suggest trying this site it lists a load of free rpg's, it's how i find new one's to play all the time. http://www.onrpg.com/

No problem. It's a really awesome game. Although I can't get it to work on my pc since it crashed last week. T-T

That sucks! I've been looking at some blogs about Runecape, and some people have been having trouble with it crashing their computers.

I'm trying to save up to get a better comp, myself. I'm trying to decide between an Asus EEEE laptop or an Acer Inpire. Newegg.com has them both with 8.9" monitors, with the Asus at 1G/160GB and the Inspire at 1G/120GB. The Asus is $329 and the Inspire is $399.
