The Meecio boy had seen a sign saying that there was a bounty out on Rat Tails so he had hit the fields, searching for some of the Rat Fields in hopes of getting ahold of some of their tails to turn in for reputation and money. The only problem was that he couldn't find any rats, no matter how hard he looked it was cats, cats, cats. There was one that was standing a distance from where he was now. He was half tempted to just keep going and try to find a rat but that would be cowardice. He wanted to fight with all the enemies that he came across even if they weren't the ones he was hunting down particularly.
He took a deep breath, took out his sling, and rushed forward towards where the cat was. He couldn't hesitate a moment, he had to fight, fight, fight his way to the top!

The cat lifted its head from what it was doing, turning towards the loud noise that was coming towards it. The cat's eyes went wide before it jumped up to its feet readying to defend itself.

Singh swept up a rock from the ground, loaded it into the sling, and then sent it flying forward towards the cat. Once he was done with the cat maybe he would be able to find a rat and when he found the rat maybe he would be able to get a tail from it. He wanted to get the needed tails for Danali. He wondered what the reward for this was going to be... hopefully something good! Money would be nice about now, he was pretty broke after his last shopping trip.

The cat took a tumble, rolling backwards away from the Meecio when the rock hit it. It rose up to its feet, hissed, and lunged forward once again when it recovered from the blow.

Singh gave a pleased sound when the rock struck home and he slid to a halt when the space between himself lessened. He knelt down to get another rock, loaded it into the sling and the second shot was sent flying forward towards his opponent. One more and hit should do it he thought to himself, hopeful that it would hit. If the cat got any closer then this he was afraid that it was going to have to use his dagger. Thus far he'd only used it as a tool, not as a weapon. He was a little nervous trying it again since the last fight he'd had using a melee weapon had gone badly.

The cat gave an amused sort of a sound when the rock when flying passed it, missing by a long shot and it rushed forward that much faster. Its prey was nearly within clawing range...

The cat was to close Singh thought to himself, his hands fumbled at his side to get hold of his dagger. He drew it and then readied himself for the first battle against a cat in hand to hand, he took a deep breath before he lunged forward. He was going to do this! He could do this! It was just a cat, he'd beat two of these already in battle so how would this be any different just because he was using a dagger?

Singh gave a squeak of surprise when his dagger struck home and blood splashed his fur. He took a step back, shaking off as much of the cat's blood as he could before he started to scrub at it, "Ick... I need a bath..." He grumbled to himself. What sucked the most was that he had a large dislike for baths. They were less fun then most anything else he could think of.
After searching the cat's body he moved to dig a grave to put the cat in, then moved along. The Meecio boy decided that the blood would dry and that he still had to hunt for his rat tails.
