Alright, so this guild is to get away from the flamers... the elitists... the n00bs... the drama... and what not. So what are you escaping from, by coming here? A particular user? Group of users? Just drama in general? All the trolls in GD? What exactly is it that you've come here to avoid?
I'll start:
I came here to avoid all the flamers and popularity/attention hungry jackoffs in the GD forum.

Oh, another think I like is the fact that when you post in private guilds, it makes your post count go up, but doesn't link back to the posts you've made. So it's a good form of privacy within the community. I like that.

I made the guild because I basically had no where else to go where I wouldn't be confronted by at least one idiotic noob a day. ED wasn't doing anything for me because of all the inane discussions, GD was too full of "OMFG LEIK WHAT DO I DO!?" threads, and WG was slowly filling with irritation, it was almost like WG was drawing the noobs, instead of the chatterbox.
Also there had been talk before with some of the friends of mine about making a guild, so I thought, "hey, why not?" I pitched the idea to some of the friends of mine who were online, and they helped to get it up and running. 3nodding
Now this place is just for my friends and friends of my friends and whatnot. smile
Though the WG has calmed down a bit for noobness, I still like to lurk around and post in the guild(s) that I belong to. 3nodding

Let's put it this way. I am trying to talk to people I know and make new friends WITHOUT meeting up with any assholes. This place is rather head and shoulders above the rest.
I would like to name everything I hate about every place on gaia however I am getting on in years.

I actually post more now that I'm in the guild because I don't have people pointing up at me saying things like "I've nver seen this person before" when in fact, I am the one who should be saying that because I was there first.
Anyway, I know people here and they don't say stupid s**t because they don't know any better, they say stupid s**t because they care.
Once I meet a bunch of people, I generally like to just stick with those people and meet others through them. I'm shy that way.

I like that I know who 98% of the people in this guild are and I get along with all them. Also all my closest friends on gaia are in this guild. So it just makes it more personal when I post and make threads. Also people actually read what other people write, instead of just skipping over it because they don't know who the ******** half the poeple are.
also, I can swear lots and get away with it. And there are alot of sexy biatches in this guild.

i come here mainly because i wanted a guild for us people when the guilds came out >.> <.<;; but no one liked me idea.. so i thought it wasnt gonna happen... oh oh oh and cause of all teh cool peoples that dont come to the kiss thread since im a recluse and go nowhere else aside from there

Because...I was invited and I've never been in a guild. And I like the way the people use regular grammar (or at least type like they're speaking instead of something un-translatable).
And, well, I don't know. It seems nice, but a little empty?
