No offense to these fans. But Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. KH is an OK game, but not the best game. and also their fanbase also making them a bit overrated

lol,i fancy Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts too,but i have to agree,it has too much hype & it's too overated for it's own good.. sure the story & some parts of it is pretty awesome,but there's always some elements of those games that aren't so perfect,so i would usually rate them as "almost perfect,but not quite" games,lolx...
probably the only game that deserves all the hype it has is... God Of War.. xDD

Halo might also be one...there are tons of other FPS out there that are better

I would have to say the Halo series is overrated. Sure the plot was simple and basic. And it was pretty good FPS, but yea I would have to agree with you. There are a lot of other FPS out there that are way better than the halo series. Although I thought the Second Halo game was the best.

Imma also gonna say Starscraft. mostly because of the fanbase and how they think it's the Most epic RTS game alive

I going to have to say The Guitar Hero games.
Just mainly because everyone says it is amazing.
True it is amazing but in reality it is just like DDR, but you hear awesome songs.

I am going to agree with the pokemon, but I am going to say GT is overrated, just like the NFS games also.

well NFS isn't overrated, the last 2 games is lost Ea's luster. So blame EA.
Edit: the most underrated genre is racing. the games are at all overrated.
