I would say cloning is ethical =p I see no reason why it wouldn't be. Saying cloning is unethical is like saying childbirth is unethical.

Well cloning is creating life. Some people would say it's unnatural but I don't see how it is, it's just more facilitated. Childbirth is the same thing, creating life, just less facilitated.

I think it is too much to say that cloning is unethical, but I definitely would say that cloning should be regulated. Ultimately cloning is a complex issue that could open into a large number of both ethical an unethical practical applications, and would depend on the motives of the people doing the cloning. This is similar to the arguments now about genetically modified organisms used for food. Are the dangerous or safe? Is it ethical? I think it all depends on the goals and the motives. It is too dificult to label.
