I don't know if this needs a warning or not, but warning given.

I'm pretty sure this hasn't been covered in the books since Meyer is writing them directed towards her children, but this thought has been bugging me for a while. What do you guys think Edward did about when Bella's time of the month came around and he still didn't have control over his feeding urges? I mean, she was seventeen when they first met, so I'm pretty sure she would have had it by then. Not to mention all of the other females in the school, which probably isn't too big a problem for him since he didn't care for them anyways. But yeah, I can't picture him skipping a week of school every month and still getting away with it.

Actually, should you have the patience (and I'm sorry I don't for you) but on the TwilightLexicon in one of their Personnal Corespondants, Mrs. Meyer awnsers a question very simular to that. She describes that yes it is alittle harder to resist, it is still an urge, but "Bella is to shy to ask, and Edward is too poliete to mention it" (quote from memory). Also, as anyone of us would agree.. "It's not that much of a urge, because it's sort of dead blood (If you know what I mean)". (again, quote from memory.

That is pretty much what I read on the Q&A on IMDB

I didn't notice that question on IMDB, and I'm afraid I haven't had the time to start on TwilightLexicon since I just finished the books and it's finals time for me.

Yeah, I had been wondering the same thing aswell, but I just assumed it was one of those plot holes best left alone. Thanks to Words-like-swords for answering the problem. I could so imagine Edward thinking "Oh great, It started again. Bella's going to be a bit grumpy today." blaugh Anyway, I'm glad someone was finally brave enough to bring up this question. I know I wasn't.

I know, I wouldn't be brave enough to bring it up too! Haha! I don't really think Bella would be grumpy around Edward! I don't think it would be possible considering Edward is like the sweetest guy in town!

Lol I always wondered about that too. Poor Edward must get a little embarrassed when he smells her period.

Now, not that I could see Edward saying this, but it would be too funny if they had this conversation...

Bella: Edward! I am not happy about this whole over-protecting nonsense!
Edward: Oh, you'll be fine, you're just on your period.
Bella: SHUT UP!!! scream

i know it's been answered, but i was hoping int wouldn't. like in movies, then never go to the bathroom, yet you know they do,so you ignore it. that's what i was doing, ignoring that Bella had one. rofl

i think it'd be even MORE awkward for the rest of the Cullens. i guess it's alright for the boyfriend to know when it happens, but the boyfriends family? gonk
