Just had mine last night and it was a BLAST. I only knew two people there, but everyone was awesome, and I'm not saying that just because I was drunk.
Yes, I got drunk. For the first time ever. Seriously, this was even just my second time to actually drink in my life.
I walked in and Heather asked if I needed to go to the bathroom or take my jacket off and when I said that I didn't, she told me to have a seat, handed me two bottles of watermelon Smirnoff (I think that's how it's spelled), duct taped them to my hands, and told me that they wouldn't come off until I finished them. They were eventually followed by six shots in glasses that they said were around three times the normal shot glass size, two jello shots, and part of a fuzzy navel. And just when I started to feel sick, I laid down and fell asleep on the couch for about five minutes and got back up, feeling almost perfectly sober; enough so to call my mom to ask her to feed my fish without letting on that I'd had anything to drink. I didn't even puke or anything! And I knew when to stop, so I was just the fun kind of drunk, not the kind where you thoroughly humiliate yourself, then pass out on random surfaces and wake up in the morning wondering where the hell you are and what you did; I remember everything I did, none of which was embarrassing, and I didn't even have a hangover. Freaked Dennis and Joe out too. I talked to Dennis on the phone and he could tell I was drunk, then we talked a while later that night and he could tell I was sober; they were very surprised.
But yeah, we all had a great time. We played 'Drink or Dare' and 'I've never...' and just acted like a bunch of goofy girls. I think I made a lot of friends. ^^ I gotta' hang out with them more often; this was actually my first time to really just go hang out with a bunch of other women. All through high school, I never had friends that I could go hang out with, so this was really special to me. ^^

And I'd like to just add that I've hardly ever touched alcohol in my life. So no, I'm not a drunk. rolleyes I've only ever really drank one other time, and that was just enough that I got a little tipsy.
With everything going on with my family right now, I just REALLY felt like I needed a drink though, and I knew I was with good people who wouldn't let me actually mess myself up, so I felt pretty safe. I didn't even go there intending to have more than one Smirnoff either, but the duct tape quickly changed the plan a bit, then there was the fact that they kept handing me one shot after another. ^^;
And I didn't drive either, even though I felt perfectly sober at the end of the night; I stayed there on the sofa bed.

Yeah. As long as you didn't get totally plastered and then weave all over the road, you're fine. blaugh
Critic can't hold her liquor. The one time she tried a teeny bit of rum (only half a glass of tea with a smidge of alcohol), she actually got a little drunk. She isn't willing to repeat the experience. sweatdrop
I've always wanted to play "I've never..." I think I would win. Have to play with coffee or something.

Nah, I wasn't all that drunk and I stayed there for the night anyway. 3nodding
Somehow, I can hold mine really well, which surprised the heck out of me. o.O Try something a bit lighter?
Yeah, it was a fun game! ^^ They let me play with water part of the time because I hit the point where I knew that if I drank any more, I'd just be totally gone. ^^;

Drunk drivers annoy me. Especially when they blast crappy music.
Seriously, there was only a teensy smidge in a full glass of tea. Less than a capful. gonk Good for you, though.
Coffee... does bad things to me. talk2hand

Same here; I've had a few of 'em driving like morons in front of me. D: I mostly get mad at them because they could hurt someone else.
What kind was it? Dennis tells me that there are some that are just terrible. >.< You might have gotten a hold of something really nasty.

Captain Morgan, I think. The pirate with the leg. x.x I could taste it through the tea.
It's like... my mind starts racing, and I have to sit down so my heart will stop beating so fast. I can drink one mug before I'm in a frenzy, and my heart starts palpitating. No es bueno. talk2hand

I haven't tried any rum yet, but I hear it's pretty strong, so you might try something else if you ever feel like it again. I recommend vodka, personally. 3nodding I remember hearing something about that Captain Morgan stuff, but I can't remember what it was exactly...
Holy crap. O_O No coffee for Critic! I'll join you in that one; I hate coffee. xP

A cup of tea in the morning is all I need to be hyper the rest of the day. I looooove the taste of coffee, but there's that self-imposed ban... sometimes I'll get decaf, though. Of half-caff. domokun

I love the smell of coffee, but I don't think I'll ever taste it again. Especially after seeing pictures of the decafination process in an issue of National Geographic. They were shoveling this slimy gray sludge out of a trough of coffee. razz

Well, white sugar is filtered with bone char and the shine on your apples and candies is made with insect crap. Plus, next time you see "Natural and Artificial ingredients," ask yourself how specific that is. Would you buy "meat soup" or a "food burrito?" xd
