This forum is for all of the past and future run-ins with the wildlife(LIVING WILDLIFE) in our daily lives. For the first random encounter, I was in EPCOT in the Central Europe section(this is all still in Disney on my spring break) and while I was scouring the ground for "locals", I RANDOMLY ENCOUNTERED A GOLD DUST DAY GECKO!!!!! surprised surprised xd How'd that little phelsuma get from Madagascar to DISNEY?!?!?!

A little over 10-years-ago my uncle was sleeping outside on the hammock once. He fell and squished a scorpion.
Good news, my uncle didn't even know until he got up a few minutes later.
Bad news, the poor scorpion was squished so badly I couldn't even tell what species it was.

me, my friend, & my sister were walking around outside in the woods and my sister wanted to climb a tree. then when she went by the tree she saw a turtle (i have no clue what kind... just a random little turtle) & she wanted to poke it. whee so she grabbed a stick and poked it, and the turtle "growled" at her. o.O very strange little turtle.

One time me and my friend were walking around in a dry creek, in San Luis Obispo, near my grandma's house. As we were walking, we stopped a sec and suddenly say a black wolf cross our path. surprised It didn't do anything to us, it just kept walking. I say it was really kool though. xp

When I was 4 or 5 me and my mom went for a walk with my then 2 year-old sister. This park had a huge mass of water around it that led out into the ocean. Well, anyway we were walking around and my sis was asleep in her stroller and all of a sudden a dolphin comes right up to me and let me pet it. A wild dolphin! I turned to my mom went it left and smiled "Mom! I saw Flipper!" My mom is still surprised about it. Then... A few years ago we went to Tennessee and spent the summer there. It was nice, raining, a little muggy, but a lot better than Florida in Summer. We went cave exploring with other tourists, which was amazing! And went to the mountains and horseback riding, which was the best. On the end of the trail, where the road ends there was this church. We got out and explored with other people and then I went into the woods where this little fawn was. I got so close to that white-tailed fawn that I could almost pet it. It was the coolest experience of my life. And on the drive back we saw two black bear cubs wrestling each other. Thankfully no one got out of there car, but they slowed down so everyone could see them. Those are my coolest experiences growing up.

OMG!! So yesturday I am getting ready for school and I walk out my front door to check how the weather is and there is a rattlesnake curled up on my front porch! THANK GOD I saw it before I opened the screen door! lol I had to go out the back door to get to the bus stop. It was gone when I got home though so it either slithered away or The Snake Guy came and relocated him.
