A gentle breeze tossed the dark mane of a resting Dragon, his spattered blueish grey body was long and thin, he appeared emaciated and bones stuck out in joints and ribs when he bent. it wasn't that he didn't take care of himself it was more that he had a difficult time doing so thanks to his own emotional scars. the ache in his belly pulled a bit harder and woke him from his nap. the sun was barely up and the world was covered in a soft blueish light with a light due in the grass he shook himself dry and shuddered. he hated water...

and rain frightened him as it was possible for it to become a thunderstorm and storms where his second biggest fear. he walked a bit ruffling his wings and grooming them slightly as he walked and as he came to a lake, it seemed like as if in a painting perfectly drawn into the open plain with light foliage surrounding it.
he lapped a bit at the roof of his mouth and wandered up to a large rock formation partly in the water and cautiously leaned over the edge. he looked around suspiciously to make sure nothing else was around that could pose a threat and took a quick drink when a licker of movement made him pause.

swimming in the lake was some very large, fat, carp. "hmm, fish..." he thought hungrily. but he'd never be able to catch a fish, he couldn't even walk in ankle deep water much less dive after a fish. his stomach growled and he sighed with a slight moan. and began to search the foliage for fruits or berries. the charms on his gifted bracelet strung tight around his left wrist tinkled slightly as the brushed together, it reminded him he was once whole. but he smiled at the sound and gave a bit more sway to his step to give them more volume and began to hum.

The red Incendia defiantely had more luck than his other darker relative when it came to food, so right now his mood was content. Although because of his origins and species, having a full stomach did not always mean he would be the nicest creature to approach either way. Nox didn't wish to return to the fire mountains where his dwelling was located, there wasn't anything to do there and hardly any other dragons to stir up trouble with.

There needed to be something like the commotion Rissa had created, the cause behind their species to become nearly extinct. Well..maybe with some other species that there was just too much of, like the little wormy looking ones without legs, arms, or wings...or those dreadful Terra's.

So now...he simply soared boredly over the forest as he turned within the air as he headed back to his home. For this land to be of dragons...there sure wasn't many around, though..a streak of blue caught his eye as he was sailing over a lake. Just his luck..it would be another somewhat uncommon site of a dragon. Very lanky and weak this one looked...it wouldn't be worth a fight.

However, he didn't have much else to do and simply dove downwards to inspect this blue Ventus.

Jago ruffled his feathers once more and suddenly froze as the sound of beating wings met his ears. a quick whip of his head and he caught a glimpse of the Incendia for a moment the colors fooled him, they reminded him of someone... but they where reversed and he quickly shook it off and stepped a little further into the brush. wile he looked sickly and was nothing like the others of his race it was his personal nature to deify natural order just to prove he could and to stand alone from the rest. wile it wasn't always the best choice and it didn't have any real benefits he was stronger then he looked.

it had been proven time and again when provoked he could be very resilient. even broken and torn he refused death as an option. the Ventus hugged his wings tight to his long body to make him appear thicker then he was. he didn't care either way if the newcomer was friend or foe in intent. he was no one's friend anyway. he could tolerate some more then others by not but one soul has his 'good side'. he groaned slightly at the thought of any sort of company but watched the brilliant red dragon descend on his little food hunt.

The red Incendia halted in his descent as it was made apparent by the lanky looking Ventus that he didn't want to be bothered. Of course being that malnourished, who would want to be? Fortunate enough for the blue lanky dragon Nox wasn't like his heartless relative Shadow, he would have picked a fight in the blink of an eye just for a shot at another dragon's flesh...a rare delicacy for that dark Incendia. No, Nox had a fierce temper that was sure to show at the slightest moment of frustration...but right now he was more curious to poke at the Ventus.

At least until it got boring...

So again the red Incendia began his descent to the lake, allowing his talons to skim across the water along with his tail. Without realizing it, Nox had impaled three fish with his talons as he came to stop at the lake shore nearest the Ventus. Plucking the fish from his talons with his mouth, Nox tossed them off to the side as he already had his fill of food.

Jago flicked his wings a bit a nervous habit some birds had though he did it simply out of habit itself as the Incendia glided along the waters surface and impaled unsuspecting fish the Ventus tilted his head ever so slightly. what was this? a game? rubbing it in the lanky dragon could not swim nor want to? that he couldn't fish and the other did so without trying? either way the sight soured his mood. not very hard to do, but for him acts of spite, violence and hatred where more common then simple coincidences.

as he watched the other dragon carelessly toss the fish away he rumbled a slight disdain, wasteful. he thought. then taking a step to widen his stance he picked his head up on his long neck as if to say 'what do YOU want' without actually having to try and say anything. though he didn't truly care for an answer, he wasn't the type to speak much at all unless he had good reason or want to. but usually his body language did enough talking...at least for a scattered few. he'd learned denser minds require being talked to like a child. in which cases he usually just dropped the whole thing and left.

his first impression of the dragon was that of an either really stupid adolescent or one very sarcastically humored brute here to pluck at his feathers for fun.

Almost as soon as Nox arched his neck did he meet the sight of the upset looking feathered dragon. It was obvious from the beginning that he didn't want to be bother, so the next motion he recieved from the blue one was somewhat predictable. Though the Incendia still remained unhinged, and took even a slight offense to the silent response to his arrival. His lip curled slightly as a glint of his fangs glistened for a moment before the Incendia righted himself and placed his wings on the ground.

Of course his species moved around by doing this or parading around on their hind legs...but to him it was easier walking about like one of the four legged ones.

"Is an empty stomach making you a little grouchy, blue one? Why don't you take one of those fish...I don't have any interest."

Jago caught the hint that the other was lightly offended by his lack of a worded reply. it was common courtesy to at least say 'hello'. but to Jago a 'friendly' greeting was to be earned. he found it a tad odd the way the other dragon moved, tough he was slightly curious how the dragon functioned, he simply gave a studying eye in response to the somewhat unfriendly show if teeth.

the Ventus may have been hungry, but he wasn't about to take someone else's rejected accidental spearing. he'd no idea where the other dragon's tail or claws had been. wile it obviously didn't look like it with his tattered body, the blue-grey dragon was very finicky about cleanliness.

deciding to speak rather then get more angry he simply picked his head up higher with a superiorly half lidded stare. "Don't test me..." he warned half heartedly, it wasn't his intention to fight, "My belly is no concern to you, and my mood has nothing to do with how full it is." he finished simply with another flick of his wings. he'd almost forgotten what his own voice sounded like. he cleared his throat briefly covering his mouth with one 'hand' and righted his necklace so it laid straight on his chest.
