It was a pretty boring and lazy day for him. He was out in the fields near the apple trees. Peace lay out on his back watching the clouds go by. He almost wished someone would come by or at least have something to do around here.
Azure was asleep next to him. Her small chest rose and fell, almost perfectly in sync with her small sleeping noises.

Zane had gotten bored of being around the shop, and Agrona had yelled at him to stop moping. So sighing softly he went off walking. He found himself in an apple patch. He glanced around until he saw something moving. He blinked then went over to see what it was. It looked like it was Peace. He had seen Peace before trying to court Saunter. He shruged and turned to leave.
"Go say hi!" Squeaked Rei who was flutterring by hi. Zane glared as he was sure Rei had made enough noise for Peace to notice he was there.

Peace shifted onto his belly when he heard squeaking. He looked towards where the sound came from. Is that Zane? He though to himself. I wonder what he is doing around here... He got up trying to make sure it was him.
Azure flipped over onto her side when her koivu got up. Mumbling something in sleeping noises she tried to get closer to Peace's warmth. Soon she gave up on getting any more warmth from him and opened her eyes to see her koivu standing a foot or so away.

Zane smiled and waved a paw over at Peace.
Zane slowly made his way over ignoring the giggling of Rei. Rei landed on Zane's head and continued giggle smirking.
"Don't worry, I don't think he will eat you." Zane growled annoyed and Rei giggled a bit more. Zane stopped once he was close to Peace. He never spoke much with Peace so this was definitely different and new to him.

He smiled back and nodded. The olympic koivu looked at Rei. His sentence trailed off so you'd have to be listening closely to hear last part. He nodded again but to Rei this time.
Azure looked up to Zane and Rei. She soon averted her attention back to Peace. Glaring daggers up at him she pouted softly. She never liked it when he moved away when she was asleep.

Zane nodded and laughed.
Zane jumped as Rei tugged on his ear. He shook his head and she fluttered up glaring at him.
"Don't say bad things about me!" Rei said fluttering abotu his head angrily. She almost kicked Zane's head but instead stopped and sat on it again.

Peace laughed with him. He laughed more when Rei 'attacked' his ear. Soon he stopped laughing at the two's misfortune.
Azure giggled along with them. She had already forgotten about being woken up. The earth familiar watched the ongoings from the ground. She soon sat and watched the clouds drift over their heads.

Zane got very fidgety and nervous. He looked away a lot then finally he sighed.
Zane sighed again then sat down. Rei looked down sad at her Koivu. She gently petted his head. Zane then looked at Peace.
Zane then looked away shamefully. He knew that sounded so wrong and mean but it was true. He was unhappy around those that were happy.

He grew a bit concerned for the other. Peace nodded in promise not to tell.
When Zane finished he nodded yet again. Smiling he said; He looked to the sky.
Azure smiled sweetly. She honestly didn't want to leave but she would not be selfish. She knew when leaving meant seeing someone again. She felt like now was one of those times.

Zane shook his head quickly.
Zane said turning to leave. That is until Rei tugged on his ear again. He growled up at her.
"Don't growl at me! You're lonely! You just don't want to be around anyone because they all have someone they like while the one person you first liked was taken and then the next disappeared!" Zane snapped and swipped at Rei.
Then he stopped realizing Peace was still there. Rei hide behind Peace panting a bit scared.
Rei meanwhile shout back.
"Am not!" Rei huffed and crossed her arms fluttering behind Peace.

He frowned sadly.
He mumbled slightly as Rei and Zane argued. Soon he had Rei hiding behind him. He looked at her to make sure she didn't get hurt.
He smiled at Zane trying to reassure him and himself.
Azure watched but couldn't bring herself to do anything. She just stood and watched.

Zane blinked surprise. Peace knew how he felt? What didhe mean?
Zane slammed his paw into the grass making a few bits of grass jump up.
Zane looked down. His back shaking as his tail curled around him.
His ears hung down as the tears dropped off his nose. Rei blinked and looked to Peace.
"Told you."

Peace stepped back once in surprise. He wasn't expecting Zane to say any of that.
He eyes soften and he walked a bit to him so he could see Zane's eyes though his glasses. He was close to yelling but did his best not to.
Peace looked to Rei when she spoke. Giving her a bit of a stern but soft look after he whispered back to her.

Zane looked up his purple eyes peering through his own glasses. He couldn't help finding himself smiling a bit.
He sat up straight again and reached up with a paw to wipe at his eyes. He sniffled a bit feeling a bit embarassed at breaking down like he did. Though he was curious as to how Peace knew somewhat what he felt.
He vaguely remembered Peace having a thing for Saunter. Rei smiled and fluttered over to Zane. She helped him to clean his glasses and then patted him on the head. Though in response to Peace she winked over at him.

He smiled back.
He blinked when asked. His tail swayed back and froth.
Lifting his paw he tried getting off the topic. Peace watched Rei help Zane. He thought it kinda cute how they got along so well.
Azure was sitting next to Peace's right paw. She didn't know what would happen later on but watching the two talk was amusing.
