It's a time of Chaos. Emperor Uriel Septim has been slain by unknown assassins. His Blades, a group of elite soldiers sworn to protect the Emperor, have failed to protect him and his three sons. All dead, right under the watchful eye of the Imperial Guard. No known heir to take the thrown, High Chancellor Ocato is forced to rule the Empire. This isn't the first time the Septims have had a bit of evil lurking while they reined as Emperor. The past has been plagued with deceit, death, and conspiracy. As a shadow of evil falls over the land of Cyrodiil, Capital province of Tamriel, all seems lost. Just as things seem to be taking a turn for worst, word that a prisoner escaped using the same set of secret sewers the Emperor Uriel Septim and his three Blades, (Captain Rennault, Baurus, and Glenroy). No one knows who it was, so this escaped prisoner could be anyone, who is now free to mingle with the citizens of the Empire. Since nothing is known of this character, the Imperial Watch has put a bounty on it's head for return of this prisoner. Rumors are circulating that the prisoner was granted a pardon by the Emperor himself for helping him escape. Rumor also speculate that he/ she had a hand in his death...

** If you are unfamiliar with the Elder Scrolls series, I'll elaborate a bit for you. Cyrodiil is the seat of the Empire. It's centrally located in the middle of Tamriel. The neighboring areas are Skyrim, Elswyre, Black Marsh, Valenwood, High Rock, Hammerfell, Dagger Fall, Orsinarium and Morrowind. These regions, while not really playing a role in this RP, have various races that call them home. References are also made to them from time to time. Within Cyrodiil, many races live freely. These races are called: Imperials, Bretons, Nords, Redguards, High Elves, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Orcs, Kajits, and Argonians. ^ Imperials make most of the inhabitants here. They are more or less humans who have proven to be very shrewd merchants and diplomats. They are naturally feared and respected throughout the lands. They tend to favor warrior classes over others. They excel at sword play and heavy armor. Native to Cyrodiil ^ Bretons are humans that have bred with High Elves. They are so many in numbers and so drastically different in appearance and class choice from Imperials that they are considered a different race all together. They are amazing with magicka, especially when it comes to restoration, conjuring, and alteration. They are extremely durable peoples and they have great magicka resistance. Native to High Rock ^ Nords are big, burly, and drunken humans who are ready to fight at the drop of a hat. Most Nords are fearful of magicka and tend to trust a good hammer or sword to anything else. They tower over all other races, including Orcs. They are accustomed to cold weather and resist even the strongest magicka attacks. They are native to Skyrim. ^ Redguards are not unlike African Americans. They are very athletic, hardy, and very readily mingle with any other race. Among the vast army of Cyrodiil, Redguards make up nearly half of the militia. They are skilled with any weapon and armor. Indeed they favor bandit and warrior classes. The have a useful adrenaline rush ability to increase their health, agility, speed, and fatigue. Thew also resist most diseases and poisons. They are Native to Hammerfell. ^ High Elves believe they are the perfect embodiment of Godhood. They call themselves Altimer. They pride themselves on Magicka use and sword play. A High elf with a blade and spells is just as fearful as an Orc with full armor and a hammer. High Elves are very weak to magicka, and suffer when hit with it more than other races. Due to their studies, it leaves the body weaker than desired. They do, however, have the ability to resist many diseases and poisons. They are native to Valenwood. ^ Dark Elves are dark skinned and red eyed off-shoots from orcs and High elven breeding. They typically have white hair. They refer to themselves as Dunmer. They typically have no use, and often disdain other races. They love fighting and are skilled with bow, blade, and destruction magicka. They can summon an ancestral ghost to aid them in combat. Native to Morrowind. ^ Wood Elves are shorter bronze-skinned versions of the High Elves. They call themselves Bosmer. They are great with sneaking around and shooting arrows at would be attackers. Due to the time spent in wooded areas, the tend to be immune to all poisons and are resistant to diseases. They are among the best scouts, rogues, and spies in all f Cyrodiil. Native to Dagger Fall. ^ Orcs are big muscular green skinned beings. they are rude, ill-mannered and some of the most aggressive people you will ever meet. Most races look at them as wild beasts who need to be hunted like animals. Still, they are a free people and few are eloquent and even run businesses much like every one else. They are suited to prolonged battles and tend to favor barbarian classes. Most love crushing things with hammers over swords and Magicka. Fewer still use bows and stealth. Orc can go into a berserker rage and increase their strength, fatigue, health, and speed at the cost of agility, magicka, intelligence, and wisdom. They are native to Orsinarium. ^ Kajits are, perhaps, the most ill- treated among the savage races. Many civilized peoples keep them as slaves and treat even free ones with little to no respect. They can be just as useful as the rest of the races, boasting amazing speed, acrobatics, stealth, and martial arts prowess. Many make fine agents and thieves, while others are experienced fighters. They can see in any level of darkness and can frighten others at will by gazing at their eyes. The are native to Elswyre. ^ Argonians are tall lizard-like humanoids who are adept at swimming, long runs, and stealth. They can breathe both on land and in water and are immune to all diseases and resistant to most poisons. They are native to Black Marsh. **

** You may begin Posting. I'm making an Oblivion QandA thread to go along with this one if you need questions answered without interrupting the game play. **
Rules: 1. Be literate! Dammit, nothing more painful than deciphering annoying abbreviations! 2. No God- Modding! Unless I have to play the "outside force". 3. All custom classes must be cleared by me first. 4. You may not be a "mixed breed" character. I.E.: No half High Elf/ half Redguards. 5. I decide who catches diseases and is poisoned, (for the sake of a "bad guy" attacking you).

Stepping from the Imperial Sewers North exit, Rune covers his eyes as the early morning sun causes him momentary blindness. As the blur subsides, he looks out across Lake Rumare at a small Ayeleiid ruin. Then he checks out what he got from within the sewers. He thought the better of it, and headed up hill toward the market district. He knew, that while he found some basic gear, he was no experienced adventurer just yet.
"Oh, Hi."
That's the typical greeting from the Imperial Watch soldiers you run into around here. Freindly as ever... The Market District was more than Rune could stand. Full of random people plodding through and talking to each other in pitches that made it seem as though they were competing for the most noise made. He only needed to be here for just enough time to sell his loot and be on his way. He was on a mission now, one that he couldn't afford to wait for. As he approached "Jensine's Good As New" shop, something caught his eye...

A beggar was talking to a civilian about someone called, "The Gray Fox". Could it be? The legendary thief? He shook the notion and continued to Jensine's Good as New shop.
Welcome traveler, what can I interest you in? I have some things I'd like to sell. Perhaps, if you have it, I'd like to buy as well. Well, I have the best prices in all Cyrodiil.... Er, except for Thoronir. Business hasn't been the same since he's opened up shop. I don't care about him. Are you buying or not? Well then... What have you got to sell, Dark Elf.
He could detect a hint of anger in her voice. He was rather rude, but he didn't care. He pawned off the things he didn't need and left. Across the way was another shop. This one called "A Fighting Chance".

Sounds as promising as ever, I suspect. We'll see..
Walking across the way, he enters a dimly lit room. An older Redguard stood behind the counter. Before her was a set of very finely made swords and a few pieces of armor.
Welcome traveler. I hope you find my store to stock only the finest items in all Cyrodiil. If I can't fix it, it ain't broken!
What do you call yourself, Redguard?
Rune like her for some reason. She was warm, kind even. That was odd, since he never cared for anyone at all to even ask for a name. Maybe he was sick or something...
I am Rhosahn. Pleasure to meet you Dunmer.
Dunmer. That was the name native Dark Elves called themselves in their homeland of Morrowind. Such respect from an inferior race of men. He had an inkling about this one. Odd...

Suddenly Rhosahn spoke

Yes, Kajit. I am. What is Citrine Armor? I have never heard of this before? Let me see it, wont you?
Rune leaned a bit, just to show him how forceful he could be, but not too much to instigate a fight. At least not in the largest City in all of Cyrodiil.

The stranger leaned on me and not moving a muscle explained to him that citrine armor is a type of armor forged from citrine crystals found rarely and very valuable. After the explanation I left to my masters house knowing that there will be a whipping If I stayed longer in the market

Rune wondered what part of Cyrodiil this Kajit hailed from. He soon shook the notion, mostly because the Kajit was far faster than he was, and he raced off with no warning.
"What a strange cat..."
Rune then went next door to check out the Merchant's Inn. He hadn't slept in a long time. He had a decent amount of ammunition for his bow, a good blade, armor, and food. Now he was ready for some dungeon delving.
"Welcome to the the Merchant's Inn. Would you like a room? Perhaps some food?"
"A Bed."
"Sure thing. For twenty Gold, it's yours for the night."

Leaving the strange man behind I got to my masters house, there I found out that all of the people in the mansion including the slaves have been killed, and I was next. As soon as I arrived I found myself running for my life. After I got away I needed a place to sleep and so, I sold the citrine armor that my master wanted me to buy to acquire some gold then I went to the merchants inn to sleep. there I found the man I met back before. tired and scared I quickly rented a room and went on my way there to sleep
