{Nodoka enters from Ground Floor-Main Library.}
Nodoka walked down the stairs to the floor, and stepped onto a platform, facing the top of tall bookcases that members of LEC would have to climb down in order to explore the rest of Library Island. Sighing, Nodoka placed her helmet on her head, and took a deep breath. She placed her rope, with a hook at the end to securely attach it to the top of the bookshelf, at the top of one bookshelf, and dropped the rope, attaching part of the rope to her harness she was wearing.

Fuyu walked in noticed that they had to climb down a bookcase. " Um nodoka, i have no clue how to do this harness thing, um can you help me" Fuyu said looking down the bookcase.

Luckily for Fuyu, Nodoka hadn't gone down quite yet, and hooked Fuyu up to the rope, a little disappointed Yue hadn't shown up for clubs. Is she still with Negi-sensei...? I-I'm not jealous...I-I don't think I am... "O-Okay, Fuyu-chan. I'll be going down now, okay?" Nodoka warned, before dropping down the bookshelf.

"oh, hello." Yue said walking over to Fuyu. "You must be Fuyu, from the note upstairs that Nodoka left." She looked around. "Speeking of Nodoka...Is she here or did she leave? I don't see her and I didn't see her upstairs either..."

"My name is Ayase Yue." She bowed politely. "Nice to meet you too." She took out a juice box from the back pack she was carrying labled 'Opal Melon' , stuck the straw through it, and took a sip. "Nodoka! It's me! I'm coming down!" Yue donned the climbing equipment and began to repel down. "Are you coming Fuyu-san?" Yue asked before actually going down.

" oh yes. im coming" Fuyu said lowering herself down the bookcase. Fuyu lowered herself just enough to get eye to eye to nodoka " Hi nodoka-San, you now what would be bad, if the ropes broke.

"Nice positive thinking Fuyu-san." Yue smiled as she came to eye level with the two of them. Ah this is nice... Yue thought to herself. Still as fun as it was last year... she smiled.

Nodoka was a little shocked to be seeing Yue down here. After her talking with Negi, she'd think that Yue would still be talking with Negi. Nodoka was so surprised, that her backpack, already loose, slipped off her shoulders. In it, was Claude's book that he'd given Nodoka, and Yue's book that she'd loaned Nodoka. Realizing her mistake, Nodoka tried to keep calm, but failed. "A-Ah! I-I'll go get it..." I hope Yue's book isn't damaged by the time I get there...

Yue sighed and rappelled down to where Nodoka's backpack had fallen. She picked it up and handed it to Nodoka.
"Nodoka," She said to her friend handing her the backpack. "You really have to be more careful with backpacks and things like that..." She tugged on her backpack shoulder strap to show it was tight. "Go ahead and fix it, I'll wait here for you." she smiled to her easily surprised friend.

"I-I'm okay, Fuyu-san...t-thank you, Yue!" Nodoka stammered, making sure the strap was tight when she put her backpack on again. It's not wise to check if Yue's book is alright now, since if it isn't, I think Yue w-would be mad...I hope it is! Nodoka was still a little troubled about if Yue knew about magic, or not. She'd pretended to dismiss the subject at Chao Bao Zi, but who knows what Yue was thinking about. "U-Um, Yue? A-About the conversation we had at Chao Bao Zi..."

"Oh, yeah... What did we talk about again? I remember the conversation... sorta, and I remember that other boy coming talking to you..." She paused for thought. "I must've hit my head or something... I don't exactly remember the topic... Mysteries was it? I remember I followed Sensei to the Cathedral... We talked for a little bit about... something... and then he told me to go hang out with you." She smiled. she felt like she was missing something huge right in front of her, but she shook the feeling off. "By the way, did you start reading that book I gave you?"

Nodoka was shocked to hear that Yue had forgotten. She didn't think Yue had memory problems, especially if the conversation involved the word "magic" in it. It just wasn't like Yue, not at all! Had Negi done something to her to make her forget everything about magic? Whatever it was, it was working out fine, and Nodoka decided not to press it. "U-Uh, nothing i-important..." Nodoka stammered, lowering herself a bit more. Suddenly, Nodoka's rope snapped, and plummeted Nodoka down further into Library Island.
