[Promise that I'll clean up the dorms later]
The dorm courtyard is a nice and wide open area with lots of trees and plants surrounding it. It's a great place for students to meet up with each other, and for people to just hang out on a sunny day. ~ Emowafflexx

Keirin bowed, grinning widely. "A pleasure, Sophie-san." Straightening up, a look of dismay was quickly followed by a look of sheer annoyance as Keirin stared up at the dorm. "Oh hell. This is the building I ran into. It figures."
Shaking her head and quickly adopting a smile again, Keirin shrugged, looking at Sophie. "Thank you very much."
Keirin darted forward, almost taking Sophie by surprise, pressing something small--it felt like a magnetic bookmark clip-- into the other girl's hand. "I really appreciate this," she whispered, before walking first into the door of the dorm, then through the doorway.

Sophie looked down at her hand, blushing a little bit at this.
"....?"
It seemed as though she was not used to the whole, "Be nice to others and they'll give you magnetic bookmark" thing.
...
Before she could respond, the girl was gone. How odd. She shrugged it off and turned to leave, slipping the bookmarker into her pocket and leaving.

*coming from second floor of the dorms*
Keirin burst into the courtyard, heart pounding, bristling, and all the while muttering under her breath: "Stupid, stupid, stupid..."
She found a bench and sank onto it, willing her heart to slow down, and stop hyperventilating.
"Blasted haunted dorm stories..." She shook her head, her hair falling into her eyes as she stared resolutely at the ground, absently gripping the edge of the bench in a similar fashion as a cat would knead a blanket when stressed.
Still twitching, as if a non-existent tail was fluffed and trying to soothe itself, she stretched, taking deep breaths.
When she finally felt calm, she stood, looking around. 'People. Need to find people.' Inwardly she still felt like screaming both out of fright and her own stupidity, but she was determined to ignore it.
