The Rat Fiend was skulking through the tall grass of the Nökamr Plains, doing rat things which was mostly looking around for something to drag back to its lair to make a nest from, food to munch on, and various other things. Its beady little eyes turned in the direction of the sound of hoof beats and something like a smile appeared on its face. A Meecio. It started rushing forward towards the boy hoping to get to him to attack!

The Meecio was brushing his hands off on his pants, moving away from the place he'd buried the cat who had been a good and honorable foe. It took him a moment to notice that not only was he being watched he was being charged. His entire body froze for a moment when he saw what was coming at him, a Rat Fiend! His green eyes went huge and his hand fummbled for his sling, then he knelt down to grab up a rock.
He had to hit it before it got to him his mind screamed and he had a moment where he could almost feel the rat's teeth sinking into his arm, something that caused his entire body to shudder with distaste. He wouldn't allow another of these disgusting vermin to beat him!

The Rat dodged to the side with a hissing sound, the rock missed it and it started to move a bit faster forward towards prey. Stupid Meecio! Trying to hit it with rocks!

Singh gave a little sound of disappointment as the rock missed and started to scramble backwards. It was happening again he thought to himself, he'd missed the rat again! He didn't want it to get any closer, didn't want it to bite him! He looked around for a rock, unable to find one he reached into his pouch he searched to see what there was he could use.
"Ah?" He took out one of his plum pits, he was going to use these to try to try to grow some trees back home. He could use one to defend himself or he wouldn't ever be able to plant the trees? He loaded the pit into the sling and flung it with all his might towards the Rat Fiend.

Singh collapsed to his backside, dragging in a breath. The plum pit had done more then he'd thought it would, in fact it pegged the rat right in the forehead and dropped it. He starred at the vermin closely, making sure that it wasn't going to get back up before slowly approaching it. He'd done it... he'd killed a rat fiend!
The young Meecio started to cheer, hoot, and dance around the still form of the Rat Fiend. Maybe now the things would no longer haunt his dreams with their gnashing teeth and beady little eyes.
