wo! eek i waz watchin greys anatomy an ther waz a guy on it who looked ALOT like ares! eek BEHOLDETH!!!!! domokun  so....since kevins crying yea..... an if teh xena people culdnt computerize ares then teh greys anatomy guy culd probably play ares kindeh good! 3nodding he just needs longer hair an a beard ninja

I'm in two minds about a Xena film. The fangirl in me would almost be willing to die to see it, but the more practicle side of me thinks it just wouldn't be the same without Kevin Smith as Ares. One of the worst things that could happen is they cast someone else as Ares. I absolutely hate it when a director does that, because nomatter how good an actor/actress is, they just can't fill that role. It's someone completely different.

Yeah.
Production-wise, Sam and Rob would probably do it.
Now, they're remaking The Evil Dead, and because of the fanbase to keep them..well...alive, Bruce isn't going to be Ash, and there probably won't be an Ash period.
So, if they do that for Evil Dead, they probably won't include Ares.
That is, if a movie is ever made.
