Singh was weilding for the first time in a while his 'pointed' stick which normally was something he only used for spear fishing or as a walking stick. As far as weapons went it was a bit useless though he was pretty sure that was why they were using them in the Training Grounds. He gave it a test swing before looking over at his 'opponent' the pretty, purple Sooteu girl that had traveled with him and Karan from Gouhali.
"This is gonna be fun!" He said, he would make sure to be careful though when it came down to melee fights he wasn't really all that great at them... He was at his best when using his sling he had realized when he was practicing with it.
He tapped his stick against the ground and rushed forward towards Fadorra and made his first attack in his first duel ever!

Fadorra giggled a bit at the hit. “Hehehe, sure is! Nice shot!”
The girl bounced a bit on her odd feet, and moved to mimic what her friend had done. She was, in a sense, glad that he’d started-she wouldn’t have had the foggiest idea how to use the stick if she hadn’t seen it first. Bending her knees a bit and pulling it back, she thrust the small pointy object forward to see if she could score a hit in what would be her first duel as well.

Singh gave a happy sound at her compliment, tail wagging, "Thank you!" He said in delight. He was a bit surprised that he'd hit truth be told, he'd missed so many times in that battle with the Rat Fiend that he didn't think he'd be able to hit water if he fell out of a boat.
When Fadorra swung at him he took a couple quick steps back, trying to dance out of the way of her blow and was surprised once more when he found himself moving out of the way. Wow! Maybe all the walking had been good for him he thought to himself before stepping forward to attempt a second attack against the Sooteu, "Here I come!"

Dorra half fell over backwards, in her attempt to dodge. Luckily for her, she didn’t have to move too far, as Singh had missed, because otherwise she’d be suffering from a sore behind. Another giggle accompanied the purlply-blue girl’s attempt to right herself, and she readied for another attack. “Now my turn!” She said cheerfully, taking another swing. Maybe she’d tag him this time!

Singh squeaked, dodging again. The attack from the Sooteu had been a lot closer to hitting this time he thought to himself then smiled, "This is fun." He said, there was something great about a duel where one didn't have to worry about the ends results being him becoming dinner if he lost. Instead of worrying he just had to do his best and have fun with the duel, if he lost he didn't think he would really care since it would mean that Fadorra had won and Fadorra was his friend.
He planted his hooves and pushed forward in a bit of a lunge to see if he could tag her again.

Fadorra was just so full of giggles today! That last poke had tickled especially! “Hehehehee! You tagged me again! I’ll have to work hard to catch up!” the girl’s ears wiggled a bit and her tail flew out behind her as she launched her small body forward for another attempt at getting in a strike on her friend. This was spectacularly awesomely funtastically fun! Their first battle was spifficularly epic!

Singh tried to dodge but this time got tagged which caused a bright smile to appear on his face, "Nice! I couldn't dodge that one at all Fadorra!" He said, sounding quite impressed by the skill she'd used to hit him.
He flicked his ears back and forth then moved forward to try to do just as well, this was a rather fun game! If only Karan had brought him to the Training Grounds sooner he thought to himself as he made his next attack.

Yay! He'd hit again he thought to himself, doing his best and failing at not bouncing up and down in delight over the successful hit. As if to show him that dancing during battle wasn't a good idea he got tagged again by the Sooteu girl which made him giggle, "Oops, shouldn't dance while dueling." He said.
He shook his head to get his mind back on their duel and moved to try to tag her again. This was an enjoyable duel he thought to himself, tail wagging behind him as he went.

The female smirked at his comment. “Maybe dancing will improve my hits!” she teased, immediately starting to jokingly hop and twirl as she waved her stick around. Spinning a bit, she kicked up her one foot, closed her eyes and with both hands reached out her stick to poke him, in what she believed was a mocking imitation of how her mother liked to dance.
