Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion.

Hello! I am here to inform you of the various ways to go noob hunting. Everyone has their own style, but I am here to explain to you the 3 most common ways of observing noobs.
The first type and the most common type is the one who uses items to change their bodies into a small object. This is often done with the Summoning Tome frog, Grunny, or Hermes' Moon Mochi or Bunny. You may also see a noob hunter as a Cheshire Cat grin, an Assassin's Eye, a Pantheracorax Agate griffin or even a Hard Shell Pack turtle (although this is very rare). If you see anyone in Towns as one of these, 9 out of 10 times they are a fellow noob hunter.
These hunters often have a passive then aggressive sort of approach with noobs. They often hide in corners and watch noobs in their natural habitat, then strike when the time is right. It is also very useful when noobs tell you to leave. You can "pretend" to exit by hiding. This type of hunting is recommended for those who have enough gold to purchase one of these items and enjoys truely spying on noobs.
The second type of hunting is the more aggressive type. These hunters often don their most expensive clothing and make no attempt to hide from the noobs. These hunters instantly strike when they spot a noob and often annoy them until they leave or have been banned. Often, as a result from such expensive attire, the noobs are instantly attracted. This often leads to begging. The aggressive method can be done without expensive clothes, but the hunter will experience less or no begging.
Last of all are the ones who disguise themselves as noobs. This is the least expensive and sometimes the most enjoyable. Disguising oneself as a noob often leads to cybering requests. These hunters will play along with the noobs. When it comes down to the part where the hunter might break the rules of Gaia, they strike and report the noob and reveal their identity, often leading to major disappointment from the noob. These hunters will even go to the extent of posting fake cybering requests and using the noob language in order to attract the noobkind.
I hope this guide has been helpful for you to better understand the different types of noob hunters.

I enjoy being all types in order to learn all their reponses and takes notes on various social interactions.

I discovered that if you don't want to strip down into a frog or something, you could hide behind objects like trees or houses, and your avi and your username won't be seen by the noobs you're observing. Note: sight radius is limited, so you might want to choose a wise location before observing, and noobs tend to move around a lot.

Hehe.. I do that. Hide behind trees, I mean. You get the funniest observations if they think you're not there. XD

I don't have an item that can turn me into anything just yet. Still saving up for it though.. it'll be easier to observe them without our regular avatars. Being a teeny object alerts their presence to hunters less.

I am sometimes a 2, and sometimes a combination of 2 and 4.

If I am feeling lazy, I will go into Towns on my main, but if I feel paranoid I'll use a n00bisly clad mule or a cosplay mule. Either way, my tactics closely resemble that of a Type 2. 3nodding

I am type 2, by the way. I occasionally go type 1 with the Cheshire Cat grin, but I have more fun with type 2. Noobs are like "Wowz ur rich$$$!". I'm really not worth that much....

I have to say, I'm all types.
I find type one to be the hardest though, becase of my large username, and, surprisingly, I don't get much response while being type two.
I rarley go out as type three, becase I am always selling things, but on the rare occasions that I do, my hair gives aways the fact I'm not a real noob.

as a brand new hunter, i can only reply to this in hopes of actually attaining some level of success in one of these categories.

i am hoping to be most successful as a type 3, but i may be able to go through with type 1 just by concealing myself behind objects.

I'm more #1 then anything, but I'm also... kind of a #3. sweatdrop

I'm also sort of a #2, since I like to attract N00bs when I wear expensive avatars. I enjoy annoying them. xP

I can be any of the above mentioned... Although I use one of my mules most often 2CU as a frog & Mental as a bat... I have been known to use this account as well & I have found out that in some cases you do not even have to hide because the "Real Noobs" you can encounter anywhere... I mean how many times have you gone into the towns in one of the popular topics & right as you go in... There are Noobs everywhere!

However when I do go into towns I tend to go watch the nike trailer so that I am super fast! LOL Makes being a smaller animal virtually unnoticeable which is really cool!

Happy Noob hunting!
