If you're a new member you should post a little something about yourself. Even if it's just a hello.

Hi, I am Dimari, or in my real life, Rob and I'm 20... I almost put 19. hahah!

I am studying to be a doctor, hence the Dr Dimari thing. I'm from the UK so I enjoy a daily routine of poor weather, usually rain due to low pressure weather fronts moving along eastwards from our lovely friends, the Americans.

My fortés are Medical Science & Psychology (which is a science in the view of Universities to those who think otherwise)

I also dabble into Organic Chemistry, General Biology, and have a good grounding in General Science, but I do like Biology more. Got A-levels in all sciences, yet, mathematics is my weakest subject, with the exception of stats, so forget be being able to explain anything with maths. lol

So yeah, I'm Dr Dimari...

Yo, I'm Phil. The Physicist. I'm into spacecraft, explosions and putting a proper economy into space. And anything similarly grand and impressive.
Currently, I'm revising (ha) for my Exams, which begin in about a week and a half, with Maths, the hardest Paper of the lot I reckon >.<

I'm in First Year (if I was higher up, I'd know more stuff >.<) at Birmingham University, which is in England.
Other than that, I'm 19, with crazy hair (all Physicists have crazy hair xd ) into Anime (Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, Azumangadioh (sp? sweatdrop ), stuff like that) and Drawing and amateur Engineering and Sciencey stuff in general, all done on paper of course.

Hello, hello!
The name's Lily, 'course that's an alias!
I'm going to be sixteen this month, and from what I've read so far I'm the youngest here >.>;;
But it doesn't mean I'm stupid(naïve maybe)!
Anyway, I wish to be a Biology(or English, still haven't decided)teacher. I live in the U.S.
I love reading and writing, I'm a literate roleplayer(at least I'm getting there). I tend to get off track, so please excuse me if I do so. I have an over-active imagination, and I love to ask questions!
Um…let's see, I love reading manga and novels, my favorite subjects are fantasy and legal/crime dramas.
My favorite sciences are psychology and biology('course). I make fun of myself a lot! I have several mottos, one of which are "Laugh at yourself before laughing at others."(Another being; "All the good things in life comes with a price.")
Well! I better stop talking(or typing) before I bore you all to death!

With great excitement,
Lily

Thanks. Very good posts!

My name is Colin although I'm not used to people calling me that online, I usually go by my user name (feel free to use whichever). I am 17 in July! I feel very young however I'm too far ahead in my physics class and I've basically had to read books on science since I was 10 to keep myself up to date since the classes have just been so easy. I'm currently taking physics and it's my interest. I read a lot of physics books multiple times (I get off track sometimes). I've also taken multiple college biology courses and I plan to take a college course in Chem next year. I'm also President of the Philosophy club and have been for almost three years now. I'm currently reading the book "Physics of the Impossible" and I'll be moving on to Brian Greene's new book right after I'm through with it.

Hope that's enough for me!

Greetings. I'm VoijaRisa.

I'm a guy with a degree in Astronomy that's not really using it thanks to my girlfriend (I'm waiting for her to graduate before I go find a real job). By virtue of having said degree, I pretty much have a physics degree too (only 3 classes shy).

Due to the fact I live in Kansas, I've had more than enough of my fair share of Creationist idiots and as such, I don't deal well with idiots anymore. People say there's no such thing as a stupid question. Well, after three years of teaching basic Astronomy labs at a university, I can tell you there is. There's a definite line between a well informed, intelligent question, and simply putting absolute bullshit up in the form of mental/verbal ejaculations. If someone really wants to learn, I'll help them. But if they want a pat on the head for spamming their non-sensical fantasies, I respond with a harsh dose of condescending reality. If you can't even understand the basics of science as taught in elementary school, you should never talk about science. Ever. Just go flip burgers at McDonalds.

I maintain a moderately successful blog on astronomy and inane religious antics. I enjoy doing cosplay and playing WoW in my free time. Oh, and I don't have crazy hair.

Hi! I'm Areliana (to all intents and purposes) and I'm a Chem-nut living in Australia. I'm currently a 19y/o 2nd year Chem major doing an arts degree. Yep a bit weird, but the Chem school here at the university of Sydney seems to be full of crazy people so I think I fit right in. I've loved Chem for ages, at various stages in life expressing an interest in being a fireworks developer and a pyrotechnics expert in the film industry. At present I'm just happy to attend lectures and labs having fun with chem.

Hello,

I'm Ang Yi my misspelled name in Chinese XD I also make bad typos in English as it is not my first language.

I am a Biologist, meaning I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology. I also got a minor in Chemistry. What I'm doing with my life? Well I'm currently putting together a 40 minute lecture on HIV-Associated Dementia and its translation in the mouse model of HIV Encephalitis. I will be covering mostly neuroanatomy.

I'm pursuing an ever so elusive Doctorate's degree in Neuroscience. I just finished a Neuroanatomy core course with the first year medical students. But I have taken the second year Medical Immunology class, and all first and second year classes for my PhD in neuroscience.

I work in a laboratory for Neurotoxicology and do research in cell signaling associated with HIV clades B and C.

Let me know if you need help with anything. I don't know everything but I got a strong hold on Biology and certain things. After high school I wanted to study Quantum Mechanics and pursue a degree in Physics but my University didn't offer it so I went with Biology...

Pleased to meet you all. I might be the oldest here too XD

Hey everyone. I'm from Wisconsin. I'm a university student, and enjoy almost all of the sciences: Physics, Bio, and Chem... I hope to go into Astronomy. I also like Math, particularly the geometric side, though I'm not too well versed in advanced math yet... Anyway, I look forward to posting with you all about science. ^_^

Hello. I am Niroht, my real name will not be posted here. I am an Astronomy major at the end of my second year. I've done research on the lunar surface and assisted in research on eclipsing binaries. In general, I like to teach people, but I have little tolerance for stupid people, so if someone is deliberately being stupid, by using poor grammar or so on, I do tend to condescend them a trifle.
