If you have any book suggestions feel free to post them here. The more we read the more we know and the more we know the more powerful our arguments become.
As for movies, they can be very educational and/or thought provoking. Feel free to post suggestions.

The Elegant Universe-- Brian Greene
Just a really nice introduction into physics.
Physics of the Impossible -- (Have to check, will edit later)
Fun book. I was expecting it to be a load of bull but it was actually very well thought out for this type of book. Normally it's people talking out of their a** and using pseudo science but this was actually quite interesting.

The Trouble With Physics -- Lee Smolin
Nice book that goes over the history of physics and looks at many different theories and their origins/possible outcomes.
