(cut to very emo, grainy black and white cut-scene of a little girl with pale hair being caught in a fiery explosion. Two young boys, their red and blue hair the only colors other than B and W, playing together in the least-leading-to-moe-yaoi way possible as grim elders stand looming in the background. Younger, saner-looking Falconer is in a war zone, peeing himself as he watches his battalion get killed by an army of demonic cockroach-land-sharks.)

The Past...
Unreachable...
Untouchable...
Yet we can never be free from it's chains...

(the screen gets cut in half diagonally as shadowed, emo outlines of Rina, Zero, Daisuke, Tarja and Harris dominate the dark upper half while the sunny lower half shows chibi-Ren running screaming around a playground set, young Sorce with really long hair sticking together parts in in a dismantled computer and getting electrocuted)

It defines the Present, leading us inexorably to the Future...

(the screen splits again as the trench-coat brigade of Sorce in his coat but no armor, Zero holding Nyuu and Ensis in their sword forms in hand, Cera in full white assassin clothes, and Harris standing among the branches of the world tree flash into view, their coat tails all flapping in the wind all bad-ash like)

It turns us into what we are...

(Mizumaru and Yamaji face of in the budokai grounds, wings of fire and water surrounding them. they charge at each other, elemental dragons tearing each other apart around them as they fight each other, murder in their eyes. Cut to Ren, her head tilted back as her eyes stared sightlessly up into the sky, into the sun, her arms outstretched even as she is slowly engulfed by dark, creeping vines, their evil-looking flowers the color of blood. Tarja stands in Cherry Blossom Lane, dressed in full slutty-final-boss-wear, her eyes just as sightless as the flower petals blow around her. the camera draws back to show her undead army, as evil laughter echoes in the background...)

Yet it need not dictate what we are to be...

(Harris turns his back on a scene of fire as indistinct students in Mahora uniforms wave to him in greeting. Sorce tosses down his staff and pulls out Excalibur and Caliburn, charging forward screaming alone into an undead army as Gilgamesh's golden armor surrounds him. Fire and water surround Ren as the vines are ripped away. An indistinct male catches her as another fights back the evil plants. Zero slam Nyu and Ensis together, fusing them into a weapon wreathed with light, too bright to see a dark wings rip from his back. Falconer takes of a pair of glasses and rips open his shirt, revealing a pink tutu while cat ears pop from his head, along with a tiara stamped with a smiley face. The watch on his wrist suddenly changes into a sniper rifle. Cera's white mask is shattered, revealing one of her eyes and part of her mouth as she takes aim at something with one of her guns, flicking it to the side as she shoots to 'curve the bullet'. The bullet that explodes from the barrel is a magic-canceller one, with Sorce's name on it. )

The time has come...

(Daisuke fights someone who looks like an adult Negi in Dark Lord clothes, only to be cut down by a tall female with nearly floor-length blond hair. As Daisuke falls, blood gushing from his back, the two move together to kiss. Zero stands on top of the World Tree at night, a shining weapon in his hands. Looming over him are gargantuan shapes, with spikes and plates and too many arms. Zero swings the weapon as he throws himself at the giant demons. Falconer, Mizumaru, Yamaji and Ren stand inside an abandoned control room, as Falconer taps in a code. A pentacle appears on screen as the words 'Soul Corps' are reflected in their eyes.

...to CHANGE.

(Sorce uses the Kaleidostick, and transforms in a rainbow whirl of colors. A giant robot stomps forward, Falconer riding on it's head wearing a necktie around his head and shooting a cross-shaped machine gun as Ren, Yamaji, Mizumaru, Harris and Stephen pilot. Zero snaps his finger, causing a ring of light to explode over the world tree. Daisuke, a bandage on his head, cuts his hair with a knife and releases the strands into the wind as he watches the sunset. Cera, no mask, raises her left arm, which transforms into some kind of weapon as Sorce, standing next to her, raises his staff. They both shout out a spell and the screen goes white)
