Chirs and Anthony stood just outside the city of Loghedge. It looked like some sort of small city you would read about in history of some fantasy book. Alex wasn't kidding when he said this town was backward. "This place looks more backward than lower Alabama where my parents grew up. Alright Anthony, let us go find this Inn Alex was talking about. Stay close, and don't mention anything about Alex like he had asked."
Chris walked into Loghedge, looking around for the inn Alex mentioned. The more of the city he saw, the more Chris knew he wasn't in the modern world in which he had came from. At least all the signs were in English, old english, but still readable. After about fifteen minutes of looking around, there it was, "Dragon's Eye Inn". "This must be the place. Shall we go inside?" Chris said as he opened the door for Anthony.

Anthony scooted just inside the doorway, and it was just like a dozen movies he'd seen, the crowded common room, complete with drinks and drinkers and pipe smoke wisping from people around tables. There was a roaring fireplace and a good deal of candles about. It was warm, if nothing else. Anthony hadn't realized just how cold the outside had gotten. He let his jaw drop for a few moments as he took it all in. Finally, he looked up at Chris, looking for what to do. "Weren't we supposed to meet someone or somthing? I think that's..." Anthony trailed off when he remembered Alex's bid for secrecy. "Y'know?"

When the innkeeper left the inn for a break, Cecil made his move.
What could he say? Cecil just wasn't cut out for living alone in the woods. He was used to the city. Sure, Loghedge town wasn't New York, but hey, this was some kind of civilization, and this civilization had food. After sampling and getting sick off of the wood's fare, he decided to resort to stealing. He had a feeling that he just couldn't walk back to the Inn.
Right now, he was standing on a stool behind the bar. There was a hunk of bread in his mouth as he raided the cupboards for anything that could be deemed edible.

Suddenly this town was starting to remind her of her home nothing to do.... She rounded the corner and faced the inn again. A full sweep of the town and still nothing... she had the same questions with no answers as she had before. She looked back at the inn only seconds before the guys entered the building. but it wasnt the matter of someone going in to get stupidly drunk or whine about there issues. It was someone that looked as tho he was from the same time......
She quickened her pace only stoping right before... was she sure of this?

"Why, yes. We are supposed to meet up with a man named Bones. Stick close by, and I'll try to find him."
Chris walked up to the bar with Anthony following close behind him. He saw a man going through a cupboard. Perhaps it was the bar keep, or one of the staff. "Excuse me Sir. I am hoping you can help me find someone. Someone by the name of Bones."

The guy behind the bar sure didn't look like an innkeeper, or at least a movie one. All movie innkeepers were big fat, generally men with aprons and mustaches. He moved to whsiper to Chris. "Isn' he supposed to be older and all that? He doesn' look like he could own this place." Movies were a great indicator off all sorts of junk.

Chris looked back down to Anthony. "Not necessarily. He could just work here on the night shift for his father, or just be young and good at his job." Chris looked back to the man behind the bar awaiting an answer.

It was bad enough to try and walk with Cecil's feet. Balancing on a stool? Well, it was obvious what happened then. The stool wobbled in place, Cecil swung his arms wildly to keep himself up, but having a jar of preserves in one hand and a jar of pickles in the other did not make things easier.
It was a terrific crash. Jars, glasses, bottles of ale and tons of foodstuffs came raining down on the young man. Cecil was left soaking in a mix of alcohol, pickle juice and shards of glass.
Piece of bread still in his mouth, Cecil let out a muffled groan.

Chris looked over the counter at the poor man laying on the floor. "Are you alright Sir? I didn't mean to cause you to fall down like that. I apologize about this. Here, let me give you a hand up, and help you clean up this mess." Chris felt bad that he had startled what had appeared to be the bar keep. He hoped he wasn't too sore, and wouldn't be charging him for the broken items since he had no money on him whatsoever.
Chris looked at the mess for a moment behind the counter. He had better wait for him to get a broom before walking back there with all that broken glass, and no socks and shoes on.

Coren jumped and burst through the door as the loud crash hit..... the two guys she had seen enter were at the front one she was shocked to notice was just a little kid. the other gave her the chills. Steping forward she looked at them closer.... "what the F*** was that?"

Anthony gritted his teeth at the crash. He'd done a few of those in his time, though not usually with glass. More often than not it'd been with hay, so it wasn't that big a deal. All the tinkling from this guy's fall made it seem a whole lot more dangerous. Turning away from the bar, to avoid the sight, he saw someone dressed a little more normally than most in there. He tugged at Chris' shirt to get his attention.

Chris felt Anthony tugging on his shirt. "Just a moment please. I need to make sure he is okay before I can attend to anything else."
Chirs extended a hand to the man behind the bar and asked again if he were okay and needed help.

Cecil let out another groan. He took out the piece of pickled, ale soaked piece of bread out of his mouth, and stared at the ceiling, dazed. He picked himself up from the floor and took off his hat. He was still unaware of the people looking at him while he slap dried his hat against his leg.
He stood up, shaking out the pickle juice in his ears. They flinched.
For a moment, he wondered why everyone was staring at him.
His tail drooped in realization.
Oh.
Cecil backed into a wall. His hands were raised, he had a explanation for all of this, honest. He wasn't stealing stuff or anything...

Coren stoped and stared at the person that stood up behind the bar, it was easy to tell he was the cause of the noise but that wasnt what got her.... it was the ears and tail that made her worry. He seened to only notice them after a few moments and backed away like he really had anywhere to go.. But he didnt say nothing?
