I've just recently finished watching the series, and I have to say. The idea of cute little dolls fighting in hopes of become Alice(A real and perfect girl) is just adorable! 3nodding Much like so many other series, the end is a typical anime ending...Though if anyone likes a nice cute anime, with plenty of action, and comedy. Then check out Rozen Maiden. It will not be time wasted. domokun

Have you seen Rozen Maiden Traumend yet? They introduce new dolls, but they also kill off one of my favorites crying . I really like the music for both seasons, too. My only complaint is that there seems to be too many filler episodes, especially in 12 episode series. There's action in the first few episodes, then about 3 or 4 are dedicated to cutsey mini adventures, then the last few episodes are the big show down. I also hated the Canaria character in Traumend. She just seemed so ugly compared to Hana Ichigo and the other dolls. I haven't seen the OVA yet, but I have seen the manga on the shelves at Borders here.

OWWWW! A second part?!?! blaugh Thats great, I have to find it! Thats anime was really cute, also it didn't lack with interesting characters.

Here's probably why you haven't seen it on the shelves....It's by Geneon! And as we all know, Geneon Entertainment is no more. Which means the second season along with the Ouverture OVA and the Detective Kun-Kun Special won't be seen here in the US until another company picks up the rights. Sucks yo!

Turns out I actually seen the second season already...and here I was hoping for more then 24 episodes. Though that other 2 part OVA, I've yet to track that down yet...it's hard to find decent fansubs that havnt been removed for copyright violations...
Regardless, I'm hoping to pick up those as well soon...downloaded or illegal. I'll get them some how. twisted

Ive only been reading the manga as i refuse to watch the anime until ive finished reading it but the story has come to a halt!! damn them why cant they just finish it properly! If anyone is interested there are some pullip dolls of the rozen maiden characters, pricey but they look well worth it.
