Personally when looking at the Banners comrade Tjugo7's banner was just amazing and I think it would make a better banner then the Hammer and Sickle.  EDIT: BETTER BANNER

Basically, I don't mind the old banner, but if something else is prefered we ought to begin to work on it. I too dislike the above because of its military bias, though I admit it is a good sig more generally. But we have the resources and talents accumulated amongst folks here to make a good banner for ourselves.
