I was just wondering who all's been to laser floyd and what they thought of it.
I went a few weeks back, it was pretty much 2 hours of getting rofl off second hand smoke and listening to ridculously loud floyd, definately worth the 20 bucks.

we have something like that around here. I live in NY so there's no smoking in public places, so there was none of that second hand smoke. it's actually quite relaxing and very well put together, nice set of songs and laser designs. it can be hard to not fall asleep though especially if you fall asleep to shine on you crazy diamond every night like I do.

Yeah. I also live in NY. It sucks that you can't smoke in public places. (pouts) But laser Floyd is awesome. I saw The Wall and Dark side at my local planetarium. It was great!

I've been to Laser Floyd once. It was in the past month in fact. smile The planetarium over here (San Jose, CA) does shows all the time. I went to the Dark Side show, but they also have one for The Wall (as well as The Beatles' Sgt Pepper).
It was a fantastic show. The audience was definitely into it and some of the animations were really cool. I especially liked Money. It was only $8 admission and it included an encore live rendition of Run Like Hell (from PULSE).
Can best be described as an hour of pure bliss!

A while back the Vancouver Space Center played this and for some reason my dad had a membership to there, so I bussed over showed the people the card and enjoyed.
The overall experience was breathtaking. Just the combined use of Pink Floyd, lazers, smoke, and photgraphs made the whole experience beutiful.

I went all the way down to puerto rico (from chicago) to see Laser Floyd which was Dark Side of the moon and The Wall (as always)
and 3 hours of second hand smoke and actually my own.. and drinking drunk people every where which that rocks!
and i had to go because i was invited by larrystein...
and Rolling Stones next month at puerto rico too.. by larrystein.. so i expect to get an invitation.. neutral

My school has a planetarium and they have laser shows every weekend and they mainly feature led zeppelin shows but they also have pink floyd and like 80s music shows. I havent been to one yet. I just never thought about it or got around to it. They have lower priced ones the first weekend of school though because of all the new freshmen flooding in. Maybe I'll go this year.
