I'm confused about the rules to this contest: Specifically... the "original" idea part.
By original idea, do you mean something no one's thought of? Like biological warfare, nuclear winter, asteroid impact and such? If so, I don't see how anyone could come up with something original that makes sense, unless they're a super scientist who's figured out a whole new way our world could end. The topic has been explored for centuries through literature and media. So to conclude my question, what do you mean by original idea?
I new twist on an old idea. I do not want to read the screenplay for Day After Tomorrow. If I don't like what you said, or it is not what I am looking for, you will just not win. Not points lost, just nothing gained. Post whatever you want.
