For those of you who dont know what tapatio sauce is, its hot sauce thats really hot.lol. anyways, to my story.
so, today at like 3:30 in the morning, i got hungry and went into my kitchen. When i opened the fridge, i saw some red stuff in a cup and, since it was 3:30am and i was kinda tired, i thought it was fruit punch (by the way, tapatio sauce is red) and i grabbed the cup and downed the contents in one gulp. it took about two seconds for the affects to kick in. and when they did, holy ****, my mouth was on fire!!! i could hardly breathe, my lips were hot, i couldnt taste anything but hot(i know that sounds weird, but if you ever drink hot sauce youll know), i figured milk would help calm the inferno thatwas my throat. When i drank the milk I couldnt even taste it because my mouth was so hot. its about 7:30 in the morning now, and my throat is STILL sore. wahmbulance

zomg call the ambulance :O jk. yea i downed 2 bottles of that in a contest when i was around 9. I'm pretty used to jalapenos,and alot of hot/spicy things smile so its not that bad for me. but i understand what you're feeling xD that happened to me once too but in a different situation. smile . I was at my friends house and the dude gave me what looked like a huge bottle of fruit punch. like those 2 liter things. i was really sleepy because i hadn't slept for around 2 days and i thought it was really fruit punch so i drank it all and my mouth was like numb and burning = it was pretty painful lol and since i like to bite my lip skin off when they get chapped it added to the pain =

Holy shiz-nits, Ouchies, pain. I hate sauce, and I'm Mexican, I should love sauce. But, I don't, just some certain sauces, and they can't be too spicy or hot. xd

never seen it kept in a fridge unless it was homemade

well, im back. i was taking a break for a while. and no, it wasnt homemade,lol. i think it was in a cup because the bottle had a crack in it or something. its been so long i cant remember. Also, if tapatio sauce is kept cold, it isnt as hot. my parents are total wusses when it comes to spicy things,lol. on that same note, when you heat up tapatio sauce, it gets even hotter. i just found that out the other day...
