I was just wondering what everyone's first role play was.
Well everyone had to start somewhere right?
I remember my first roleplay was for harvest moon on this one site. I think it was called invision board. I remember how fun it was portraying a farmer but I don't remember me farming much. lol

I used to play alot of Roleplaying style board games such as D&D, with my friends. (Yes you might think its lame but we were never serious. It was more for the Shits'n'Giggles.)
But on the internet my first Roleplay was on our very own Gaia. My ex made me join Gaia while we were dateing so I could Roleplay with her. All I remember is that within my first post I'd already killed someone. xD

haha, hell of a way to start a roleplay there Steve, my first role play was on a site called overclocked remix, a site origionally started for gaming forums. Aaaanywho, my friend introduced me to it and got me to join an informal role play called the Spork Thread, where a war was going on between the sporks and bendy straws, who eventually allied themselves with KFC eaters.... lol, it was just one of those no rules randomness rps that was just hilarious.
So yeah, thats my story.

Actually, to be fair I think I started an RP like that once. xD
It was the Pasta People Vs. The Bread's In 'The Starch wars' Good Fun. Good Fun.
Anyways in my first Roleplay (I Just dug it up.) Basicly my good friend let me play as a 'God Slayer' in it because to many people were to high powered. So I went around makeing things right. Good times good times.

Hmmm...As I see it, that question applies to several categories.
First RL roleplaying: Well, that covers every childhood fantasy. Best one was hours of play in the summer...My Little Ponies had a lot of adventures in those days. (The French ones, not the overweight American versions. I still have them all- stop laughing!)
First online RP: Dragonfable, but that's more of a gaming/combat thing than an actual RP.
First text-based online RP: A thing I started on Meez.com at about 8 PM, called 'Wings!' (yes, including the exclamation point.) It had no premise other than that the characters could have wings. I think we got to 150 pages or something before it died.
First long-term RP: Another Meez, this one titled 'Ancient Feud'. Again, one that I started. There were 5 players, at the high point, but we manipulated about ten different characters between us. I did most of them, but still. It was good fun, until we slowly lost RPers. When it was down to three, I went on a family trip. Came back and the other two had gone poof. One eventually came back, but by then the thread was long in its grave.

My first serious role play though had to have been one that I started, our very own Remnants of a Forgotten Past. I was so proud of it. and we make this world our hell."

my first RP was also one of my most sucsessful.
It was Based around Dante's wonderful Divine Comidy.
In essence players were in hell, and supposed to make whatever attempt they could to excape.
What made it sucseed was the players actually understood the fact that they were indeed the damned. And in the end the lone surviver Baulder Sacraficed all his friends, and those who attempted to help him, even the girl he proclaimed to love simply in hopes to excape from the confines of hell. It was Brillant.

Actually it was sorta Sadistic.
I mean, I did sort of 'control' hell, and all its torments. xD
