Hello.
Welcome to the Chachamaru V2 Computer-Aided Sprite Crafting Center.
This is my secret workshop where I craft sprites by request.
Well you found it. Congratulations. Was it worth it? Because I am not just going to give you free sprites just like that.
There are two ways to acquire extra sprites from me.
1. Payment
2. Solve Xenon's Character Identification Riddle

Payment
Payment is rather self-explanatory.
-Each additional outfit for your character will cost between 1000 and 4000 gold, depending on the degree of complexity of the edit.
-Items such as weapons will cost additional on top of that, between an extra 500 and 1000 depending on size and complexity.
-If you would like a completely new sprite, such as a different character, the cost is between 5000-8000, which covers the sprite and one outfit for them. Weapons still cost extra.
Here are some examples of alternate outfits, as well as a totally different sprite of Gordon Freeman from Half-Life 2. Consider these examples of my work.
Introducing the Deluxe Sprite
What is a deluxe sprite?
A deluxe sprite is a sprite of far superior quality than a standard avatar edit. Starting from scratch, literally building everything in layers. Depending on the outfit and the character, this can be very time-consuming, but the final effects are always a lot better than painting all the details on at once.
The process of building a Deluxe Sprite, from the base of wearing nothing but tattered shorts and boots, all the way up to to the finished product of full plate with armor spikes.
Another thing separating a deluxe sprite from a standard sprite is that it is mostly custom. A standard sprite will be primarily edits - clothing over the original body, editing the original faces, and such. A deluxe sprite contains almost entirely custom content - in Grundy's sprites there, the only thing I didn't make was the hair.
Of course, you will receive all the layers of the deluxe sprite. Editing an existing deluxe sprite for different combinations (such as giving Grundy his spiked helmet, spiked elbow guards, and nothing else but his shorts) is cheaper than buying an individual sprite edit. So, if you plan on having lots done, it's a good investment.
So, how much are they? Deluxe sprites have no upper limit and no lower limit. Give me a rough indication of how much you are willing to pay, and we'll work something out.

Xenon's Character Identification Riddle
This is a riddle written by Xenon, based on a character she has encountered recently. It could be a popular character, such as Super Mario, or an incredibly obscure one, such as Captain Olimar.
Every user is entitled to one guess, and one guess only. The reward for successful solving are sprite edits equal to value of 6000g for free.
Here is the current riddle:
"This character exists in a single video game,
and the game is only on one console.
He wears a black coat, and a cap,
and tends to collect things and put them in 'artistic' piles.
Although it isn't documented anywhere officially,
I would guess that his favorite food is 'pi'."
Post your guesses up in the thread - but only one guess per person. If you type multiple guesses in one post, I will delete the post and you will be banned from entering this round of the riddle.
The official closing date for this round is Sunday 31st August.

Team Fortress 2's Spy Oh dear, I've made quite a mess.
And I have.
Somehow - I wish I knew how - I have lost all of my previous guesses to the Character Identification Riddle. Which is, in a small way, a blessing, given the incredibly high number of people that got it.
So, I am afraid I am going to make a new one.

There has been an update in The Sprite room.
First, you may notice that there is a new type of edit here - the Deluxe Edit! These things are not cheap, as they take me a great deal of time. The example took a total of 5 hours, start to finish - and I'd already made the head before I started!
Second, there is now an ordering form. All shiny and official-like. Additionally, I have changed my processes. Due to actually needing inbox space, I am requesting that all orders are posted here. That way they'll be staring me in the face every day so I won't forget them. I'll also be posting up the products, unless you should have an objection to that.
And third and finally - for a limited time, I'll be offering a discount on Bulk orders. Sprite edits of 4 or more, regardless of complexity, will receive a variable discount. The exact amount of discount given varies on the cost of the sprites - but I guarantee that orders of 6 sprites or more will result in at least one of the sprites being completely free!

Character origin: Origanal character. Though I have enough referances/pictures to make him seem like he's from a series. >_>;

Type of sprite: Standard
Expression & Pose: Known as being 'incapable of emotion', Tatsumi's expression's are very small in variaty. Most often, he is seen with a cold look in his eyes, seeming void of emotion, and his lips are no more than a thin line, unamused and blunt.
For his pose, Tatsumi stands tall and stern at about 6'3", and isn't the type to slouch or seem relaxed. His right hand should be carrying that mysterious case of his, while his left is loosely in his pocket. Here's a good example of him standing, though this one doesn't have the case, but I would like the sprite too.
Description: Okay, so basically, from the ground up. He wears a pair of worn in black shoes. Very basic really. His pants is a a dark grey, not black, just a few shades lighter than his coat like you see in most o the pictures I provided. It's slightly loose, but not too baggy. He had a standard black belt with a silver buckle around it, and tucked in, he has a long sleeved, blue turtleneck, once again as you see in the pictures. *nods* Over the turtleneck is a large, jet-black trench coat. It's quite long, just past his knees, but the sleeves are at normal legnth, the coat basically being his perfet size. The pictures should say enough for how the trench coat looks like; it's a modest looking one, no chains, zippers, or any of that, just the two pockets on the outside. On his hands he is wearing dark blue (sometimes without light it looks black) leather gloves that covors each of his entire hands, and the sleeves of his coat go far enough so no skin can be seen.
For the face, he has a pair of oval shaped glasses; black framed. A thin, black headband around his upper forehead, the scar which again, you can see well enough throug the pictures, and finally a necklace that is actually a silver locket. Finally, his eyes are of a dark, ocean blue, once again as you can see in the pictures, and his oakwood broan hair goes down over his right eye just to his jawline, hiding his right eye completely.
Props: Aside from his basic attire; trench coat, bandana, glasses, scar, ect, the one thing he is never seen without is that case of his. It's alarge, black, instrument case. The case is quite long, almost 4 feet long, and is 2 feet tall, 8 inches thick.

Expression & Pose: I mean seriously...I don't need a pose for Hiji. You can give her any pose you want. As for an expression, I think the expression that Chachamaru and Xenon give off would do. Total nothing, with no interest or care at all. She does have a dead mind...most of the part. As for the clothing, I'd like the SAME maid's outfit in the picture. And since you can't see the legs, I would like to request high black stockings...And whatever a maid would wear under there. For shoes, black high heels. >3 Oh, and for a height, I'd like her to be.....just a tad shorter than Hades. Hades should be taller than all of his slaves, so Hiji is shortere. =3
Props: Other than the maid's outfit, nothing.

Alright, lads.
Both your orders are confirmed; but for the time being, they're sitting on the backburner, which is currently being used on a Spah who was sneaking up on the Engineer. [/nerdy TF2 joke]
What I mean to say is that I am going to honor my freebies before I do the paid sprites, for the sole reason that the freebies are quick, and easy to do. However, the freebies thread will be closed as soon as I feel is necessary (which probably won't be long after Dawn of Monday in character); so you won't have to wait too long.

Oh wow. O_O That came out really good. And when I say that, I mean really mean it. =O Anytime someone makes some art of my character, they tend to miss something or make some sort of mistake, but you made this dead on, and it's perfect~ Thank you very much. ^_^
