ok, here's the rules:
1) We need teams..doesn't matter how many on each..the teams going against each other are the ones going for the topic and against the topic..neutral people can't say anything unless they decide to join a team. Members from one team are only allowed to defend THEIR OWN TEAM.
2) Must be on topic! The topic will be given! When we are done with the topic, we will move on..the topics are going to last a month. We can post each topic in a new thread now in this forum. We can have as many topics going as we think of.
3) Teams can offer multiple reasons to defend their side. This will make things more interesting, especially since we usually have more people on one side of the debate than there are on the other. PLEASE READ WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED AND REFRAIN FROM POSTING THE SAME THINGS OVER AND OVER. Once a reason has been stated, it shouldn't be repeated, unless it hasn't been opposed or it can be used to further explain another reason. We don't need ten posts that say the same thing.
4) Shortly after topics are done, they will be closed. However, they will be left in this forum so others can see previous topics/arguments, and because it will make things easier on team leaders, as team members are supposed to have 5 posts in this forum... wink
5) If you include a poll in your thread, you MUST provide a "For", an "Against", and a "Neutral" option. If you wish to add more options, then that is fine, but all three of these need to be present. This rule goes into effect on June 30th, 2008 and any polls that do not meet this criteria will be eliminated or edited, at the discretion of the Mod who finds the poll.
6) Keep with guild rules please!!
