This is the stronghold of Keruvan and his followers. Currently the port, the only completed part thus far, of the stronghold looks like:

Keruvan investigated the site of his stronghold. In truth, the port had already been built before Keruvan even arrived, and now his men were working on other parts of the stronghold. Keruvan would be the first to admit that his men were not exceptionally intelligent, skillful, or powerful, but they were most certainly devoted and willing to work hard. In the case of building massive monuments they certainly were effective, to say the least. Thus far Keruvan was very much pleased with his new base of operations.

Having completed his inspection of the port, Keruvan decided to view the nearby forest. It certainly was a good place....Perhaps a bit sparse as far as trees went, but Keruvan supposed he could always try to fix that later. Hell, the workers even built a path leading through the forest that connected the port and the stronghold itself. Keruvan marched onwards to inspect the other areas surronding Ka'vo Nevrith.

Keruvan returned to the path in the forest seperating his stronghold from the port several hours later. From what he had gathered, everything was alright in his book. The port and waters were to the South, whilst his stronghold was at the center. To the East there were hills and forests, which was very good indeed. To the West there was a mountain that should, in Keruvan's opinion, fend off most invading armies as serve as a good attachment to the stronghold itself. Meanwhile, to the North, there was a plain that was fairly flat, much like a wasteland really, and lead into Lord Merek's town.

Keruvan personally wasn't very surprised that there was a wasteland so close to such otherwise blooming life. It was apparent that many battles were fought on that plain in the past, and hence it had likely been burnt to a crisp on a monthly, maybe even a weekly, basis shortly after the time that Lord Merek left. At least now everything seemed peaceful. Keruvan, figuring his stronghold was not yet complete, sat down alongst the path. He began thinking of the new possibilites, of potential spells, or rather techniques, he could learn. Normally a useless venture to most, but Keruvan liked it that way. Before his training, Keruvan would fill his mind with potential training prospects that could prove fruitful. Then, when he started, he knew exactly what he wanted to do.

A man walked in the stronghold, he was not hiding his presence at all and did not care if demons seen him. He walked right up and into the stronghold, without thinking of consequences. He was a rather short human wearing all dark garb along with dark hair. He had a single katana that was sheathed on his left side and his eyes were of pure red. It was very odd for a human to evade on a demon's territory but the man did not care. He was lost in reality; he had lost his group.

Keruvan's followers already had a system in place to deal with intruders, one that they were very much tempted to use for this one. First, however, they were going to see if they could resolve this peacefully. One of the followers working on the construction, a Rezuru class Demon, walked up to the stranger. "What are you doing here Human? This is a private construction zone. Please leave immediatly." The impish Demon requested.

Without hesitation the small imp was cut down. The human sighed "where the hell did those guys go....always getting lost on me, teh they need a sense of direction like me." He continued walking already having sheathed his katana again after cutting the imp completely in half.

The workers were obviously alarmed by this and hence lost their cool. They immediatly skipped the normal routine procedure and sent up a flare into the air. The flare exploded once it had lifted about 150 meters off of the ground, making a terribly loud noise. Keruvan immediatly sprinted to the construction site, and soon arrived to see the man with the katana.

Keruvan's followers were not supposed to call him except in the most dire of emergencies, but, like Keruvan himself noted, his followers were not exactly the most intelligent bunch, and jumped to concieve this man as a terrible threat to them...Which in truth he was. Almost all of Keruvan's followers were Rezuru or Zuru class Demons, certainly not able to stand against a skilled warrior...Or even an unskilled one at times.

Keruvan did not bother interrogating the Human, he simply attacked. He tried to kill the Human in one fell swoop by aiming to plung his left hand through the Human's skull.

The human stopped the attack with his blade and said "Oh, A bzara..damn what luck I have." The human then backed up and the Bzara followed up almost swiping his arm off (lil god-mod their but its needed <_<) The human hurredly backed up though and it ripped off the sleve of his shirt revealing a small phoniex on his left arm, this man was of the silver rebellion. The human said "So, are you Lord Merek?" Rather irritated that he had to fight a Bzara, he was captain class which was Bzara level but hated fighting stronger then he. If this was lord merek after all he knew he would be dead soon.

The classes in which the rebels are would be the following:

-Apprentice (Younger, and weak fights only as strong as Zuru)

-Regular (Capable fighters, can fight about anything though can be killed by strong demons and completely annihalted by Bzara)

-Captain (Bzara-class fighter, Theres only twenty of them at a time).

-General (Leader of the army, not neccesairly the strongest fighter)

-High council (Members of the strongest eight captains and the general)

"Not quite. Lord Keruvan, Bzara class Demon. I have just recently recieved permission from Lord Merek to build my stronghold here. You....Not only did you slay my worker and infiltrate my land, but you are also a member of the order Lord Merek has been tracking." Keruvan stated. Though he had, prior to visitng Lord Merek, had no clue as to what the Silver Rebellion was, he figured out upon visiting Lord Merek. There were papers all around Lord Merek's current military base saying "If you see one with this sign, kill 'em on sight and put their head on a stick." While Keruvan thought it to be comical at first, he now was fully aware that it was dead serious, given that this Human has even survived for this long.

Keruvan swung again with his claws, trying to cleave away either the Human's head, or his sword arm. While Keruvan was only using his claws, he was still quite dangerous, at least to most people. Keruvan's claws were extremely sharp, much sharper and much more durable than most Demon's claws were. Keruvan's attack style was short and swift. He would attack very rapidly, going in for quick strikes but then quickly withdrawing his hands to avoid retribution.

The human always blocked horizontally with his katana when the claws came and in some instances had to jump back. He said "Eh, I have no problem with you then just point me in the direction to Moronia or something like that and I can be on my way!"
PostPosted: Thu Apr 24, 2008 2:43 pm

Keruvan stopped his assault, and then thought for a moment. His vacant expression soon changed to a devious smile, as a dangerous thught crossed his mind. "The direction that Moronia is located in is that way.' Keruvan answered, actually pointing him in the right direction.

Keruvan realized that Lord Merek's army was in Moronia. While this foe could not kill Lord Merek himself, he could assist in it. His thinking was that, by getting rid of this one enemy for the moment, he might destroy a second, or possibly even both if he was truly forunate.

Regardless, Keruvan was not fighting for revenge anyways. He was not aware of this Human's full capabilities, and frankly Keruvan did not wish to know them from first-hand experience. Keruvan was fighting to defend his estate...If this Human would leave him be, go to Moronia, and possibly have the Human die in the process, along with Lord Merek, all the sweeter. Keruvan would lose little by comparision to if he had fought this Human head-on.

The human walked out and yelled "lovely visit, Keruvan was it?"
