What does it do(DETAILED): The Spiker Pistol is a cross between the Spiker and the Plasma Pistol. As something that is very important of notice...ONLY Grunts, Jackals, and Drones can use it, as the pistol is far too small for use of the bigger races, even smaller Humans cannot hold it. The bolts it fires look EXACTLY like bolts from normal Plasma Pistol shots, only they are not. The green portion of it does absolutely zero damage; it is actually excess fluids trapped inside the gun that is being released, making it appear the exact same as the Plasma Pistol bolts, but doing no damage. The release of excessive fluids mean that it cannot be worn down as easily as a Plasma Pistol over the years. The green "goo" {If that term is appropriate} is used to disguise the actual projectile itself. At the time the weapon is fired the goo is released along with it, meaning that the projectile literally travels within the goo. The projectile itself is similiar in appearance to that of a Spiker bolt, only that it is green. The projectile being green makes it literally impossible to distinguish between what is the goo and what is the projectile before impact. Now with the technicalities of the appearance aside, I'll move onto the actual information about the performance of the gun. The weapon fires slightly faster than a Plasma Pistol firing regular bolts would. The power difference of a single projectile compared to a normal Plasma Pistol shot is quite significant. To be exact, the projectile is 1.4 times stronger than the plasma bolt would be, but that is excluding the slightly increased firing speed. There is a small blade on the side of the pistol, giving the ones who use it a small boost in melee combat.
