so I've recently encountered the secret cow level of Diablo II. However, many PC and console games have hidden levels where you can gain special items or experience for your character. I remember my brother playing Sonic the Hedgehog on our Sega Genesis and getting into the special level where the chaos gems are stored. what are some that you've discovered, and are they really worth it?

nightmare cows=good Exp. Anyways secret levels huh? those are some of my favorite things in vids....well super mario bros. 1 for nintendo, i guess its not a secret level but more a glitch level...theirs a way in world 1-2 (the second level in the game) at the warp zone to glitch it and instead of warping to 2-1 3-1 oe 4-1 you end up at world -1 an endless underwater level you reach the end go down the pipe and magically...end up back at the begining of that level....over and over until time runs out and eventually game over....its pretty cool but the downside is once your at this strange endless level your stuck their forever until you start a new game.

That sounds really cool, but a bummer not to be able to return to the game.

its an exact replica of world 2-2 the annoying underwater stage but it is never ending...it loops forever

I remember a secret from Donkey Kong Country for the SNES on the title screen if you press D, Y, D, D, Y you'll be sent to a secret stage where you control one of your animal buddies and you get TONS of those golden statues that resemble your friend. The only other secret I can remember is from the game Claymates I believe at the very first stage, where instead of going into the pit to turn into a mouse, you jump right over it, jump in front of the first flower you see when you are over the pit, jump 13 times( I think), and you get transported to the 13th level.
