Ryuzaki walked into the small cafe and moved to one of the back booths sitting in his usual position he picked up a menu and waited for Giles to join him.

Giles sat down and opened up the menu... how could he have failed so greatly with Samantha that she would tell total strangers lies like that about him? Wasn't he a good father figure to her? Didn't listen? Didn't he protect her? Why did she run away?

Ryuzaki contintued looking through the menu as a waitress came up.
"What can I get for you?" She asked chewing on a peice of gum.
"I'd like a slice of strawberry cheese cake and one of the blueberry." Ryuzaki smiled slightly. The nurse raised an eyebrow at him and wrote it down.
"Anything to drink sir?"
"Coffee please." Ryuzaki looked at the sugar jar that sat on the table. "Also would I be able to get more sugar please?" The waitress looked at the sugar jar that was still almost a quarter full but nodded.
"And for you sir?" She said to Giles.

"Tea, Earl Grey if you have it." Giles didn't even look at the waitress as he replied.

Ryuzaki put the menu back into the slot and leaned back in the seat staring at Giles with his wide eyes.

Ryuzaki looked at the cake as the waitress set them in front of him along with his coffee and Giles tea.
"Mmm.... yes I did." Ryuzaki picked up the jar of sugar and poured almost half of the remaining sugar into the coffee almost turning into a thick paste.
"This... Sam girl who your looking for... how old is she?"

Ryuzaki narrowed his eyes slightly. "Please stop sighing Giles-kun. The person your speaking to may come to think that you're annoyed at them when they are trying to help and it is very rude."

"I'm sorry," Giles said, "I'm not annoyed at you, I'm... frustrated. Samantha is like a daughter to me, I thought I was like a father to her, but it seems I was very much wrong."

"Hmm. I see." Ryuzaki said stirring his coffee holding the spoon in his typical manner. He took a sip of it and placed it down before continuing. "Giles-kun. Sam's parents left her in your care to train her because she became better then they are already. Is this correct?"

"Yes, how did... never mind." Giles took off his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose hoping the waitress would return with his tea soon.

Ryuzaki smiled slightly and pushed the tea that was sitting on the table closer to Giles. In his distress he must have not seen the waitress put his down as well. "You've already told me that Sam was in your care. You have also said that if they wanted to talk to her parents they could call them. Meaning her parents are indeed still in the picture leaving me with the conclusion that they had put her into your care. They only reason why I could see that would be for either financial reasons, or your teacher her in something." Ryuzaki said answering his cut off question. "I have also made the deduction that in placing her in your care you are now very over protective and see yourself as her father. Though you are indeed not her father." Ryuzaki plunged his fork into the cake and ate a peice.
"Please tell me about this man she's seeing that you so dissaprove of."

"Your correct on most of it." Giles looked at his hands. "Her parents didn't know how to deal with her, she progressed to rapidly and, she began demonstrating some rather odd symptoms, very early." Giles thought of how to explain Spike. "Spike... he is a souless Vampire, 150 years old or so. He can't hurt humans do to a chip in his head, so Buffy, she's my other charge, took pity on him and let's him live. He watches Soap operas, yells a lot, drinks far too much. Likes to fallow around Buffy, perhaps because where Buffy is the action is, and he loves fighting, perhaps for other reasons. He smokes, wears leather, I suppose you could say he's a standard bad boy." Having been one he knew how much certain girls would go wild for that attitude, he had always thought Sam to be smarter then that. "How he and Samantha became involved I don't know, but when I found out I almost killed the b*****d. 150 years old having sex with a 16 year old..."

Ryuzaki stared blankly at Giles his fork stabbed half way threw his cake. He didn't say anything for a few moments before he blinked once.
"Did you say... 150 year old Vampire?"
