Introduction to the story:
The continent of Asagorok was once home to a valiant knight by the name was Koragasa. Though it was never scientificially proven, all understood that Koragasa could not be vanquished. He was the ultimate warrior-or rather-the ultimate being. He kept peace in the land, and all of Asagorok's people respected him.
Unfortunately, however, Koragasa grew corrupt and powe- hungry. He became a brutal tyrant, and sealed the souls of his eight most powerful desciples-who were each regarded as champions in their chosen magical element- inside boxes, one for each element. Koragasa was also a conceited man, and and named these box- like energy sources "Koragasa cubes".
For twenty-six years, Koragasa used these cubes to rule as a tyrant, not realizing that with all of the might he relied on the cubes for, his own fighting skill had greatly diminished. This is when a zytuken warrior who never revealed his name seized the cubes, and used the power
We’re over a good 1500 years after this catastrophe happened. The year is 2008, and technology has developed much differently than in our world since magic was never forgotten here, and firearms are not nearly as common as medieval weaponry. The eight champions are still trapped in the cubes. However, they can now at least be at peace, hoping that they would never again be used for such malicious evil.
