Mine would have to be Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I especially like the Night Watch ones featuring Sam Vimes. I used to really be into Anne McCaffery's Dragons of Pern series, but it got tired. I also like War of the Worlds mostly because it really makes you feel like your're in the middle of an invasion with no idea of what's really going on, or so. So what do you guys like to read?

Everyone who knows me knows what I'm about to say...
Lord of the Rings and anything Middle-earth related. So epic! So much material to dig through! So much more thought involved than people think!

LOTR rocks! I think my dad either took a course in college devoted to Tolkien, or it was an actual minor degree, I can't remember. He used to read The Hobbit to me at night. Of course I didn't know any better, and thought it was a strange version of Snow White, but now I know differently. I actually really liked Pippin. He seemed to be the character that always seemed swept under the rug. Then bam! He's stuck in the middle of things, for a little anyway.

I really don't read very much sci-fi, I'm much more into Stephen King and Brian Lumley (both very good horror authors), whom I suggest highly.
