Some people believe that she eventually did fall in love with spike. But some people believe that she fell in love with being able to FEEL. I believe that she did eventually fall in love with him, because, even with all of his faults, he would have done anything for Buffy.

She fell in love with Spike no doubt, but in season 7. Just watch the episodes when they would lay together and stare into each other's eyes for hours. Also in the last episode, she said it with alot of feeling.

No i belived she loved to feel, she used him. He loved her with all his heart, he even re-gained his soul for it, and she spit back in his face. She did not derve him or Angel in my mind.

Buffy never loved spike, spike loved buffy. she just had lust for him once in a while. but it wasn't love, dfinatly not love..

I believe she did love Spike (how could anyone not ... hes soooo hot *wipes drool off lip*) But in all seriousness I think she did, they had been though so much together. Maybe she used him thoughout the years but something grew there and I think it was love .... maybe not "Buffy and Angel love" but there was love there.

I think she loved him. Maybe not totally and completely, but she felt some form of love.
No doubt she used him, but in the end I think she realised that she felt something more than simple lust, otherwise why did she keep going back and accepting him?

She was going back again and again so she could "feel". She simple used him, that the main reason of the realtship, she used him and he loved her. It was the same with Riley he was used to get over Angel, simple as that!

I think that buffy more of came to love him like she would say Willow or Dawn or Xander, etc. I don't think she actually fell in love with him as she did Angel, but she did love him to a certain extent.

Minuru Buffy never loved spike, spike loved buffy. she just had lust for him once in a while. but it wasn't love, dfinatly not love.. i agree, i think things were looking bad for buffy, with angel gone, riley just left combined with others things, she found spike, who was in love with her and she felt that by being with him, she'd at least have one thing under control since everything was falling apart at the time...that's just what i thing though... sweatdrop

Buffy loved Spike at the end. real love I mean C'ommon
You remember in the episode "Help" a girl called Cassie who was going to die and she could like look into the future and just right before she died she said to spike;
Cassie: She'll tell you. Someday she'll tell you.
and I mean Buffy did, she told Spike that she loved him at the end...

heart I think that Buffy did love Spike but she just didn't know it until the end when she realized that he would not be coming back with her. The look on her face to me seemed like it said it all. crying heart
