I figured that, in honor of the upcoming Snack Time CD, I would put this question to you, the fellow members of this awesome guild.
What was your favorite snack for snack time at school? If this does not apply to you (in some weird way), then what is your favorite snack?
for me, my favorite snack was E.L.Fudge cookies or some of my grandmother's chocolate chip cookies

I really don't remember. Probably some form of gummy-thingies...I like fruit. Like watermelon...mmm...I don't have any now though, so I think I'll go eat some strawberries instead...

The only time I ever had an actual snack time in school was on rare occasions in kindergarten...sad, no? And when we did get some kind of treat, it was only Graham Crackers (the school provided them, it wasn't my choice!) At lunch time, I usually had some kind of homemade cookies, so that was nice.
Is anyone buying the album?

I go thru food phases. My favorite snack right now is the ever wonderful Nutty Buddy. Last month it was white cheddar popcorn.

I'll probably listen to it at some point to decide if I want it or not. My nephews like BnL as it is, so they might get a kick out of it...I'm just kind of bummed that this is probably the cd that they said they were working on...I want an actual BnL cd...you know what I mean...

Damn! I hadn't thought that this might have been what they were working on. Now I'm sad. Oh well, at least there's a new KH&TB album in the works! biggrin

What's even more unfair is the fact that they're going to be giving a small concert and signing autographs in Northern California...the day that I officially start work at camp. It's so not fair!!! It's almost enough to make me rethink working this summer...

I was going to ask if you were going to that but I see that work has once again found a way to ruin things. Sorry! sad
On a thread-related note: I bought Snacktime! yesterday and I love it! If I had to think of one thing on the album that just makes the whole thing worth it, it's Ed's vocals in the song Pollywog In A Bog. He sings his part in crazy reggae style and I expolded laughing when I heard it! xd
*And here's a part that nobody else will care about, but Ulfin feels like ranting anyway*
Another thing that I love about the album are the numerous homages to Gordon Lightfoot (another of my favourite musicians). Three of the songs are listed at the Canadian Snacktime Trilogy, which is a reference to a Lightfoot song called Canadian Railroad Trilogy. Second, I believe Kevin Hearn is impersonating Lightfoot when he sings the song called Snacktime. And lastly, Lightfoot makes a guest appearance on that song, proclaiming that his favourite snack is pasta. I am now finished.

Annoyingly, or perhaps luckily, my sister might be going. Meaning she could get something signed for me. mrgreen
I listened to it at the store, it seems really good. I found Allergies to be very amusing...
I feel like I need to listen to this Lightfoot dude since you're always talking about him.

That'd be nice!
Listened to it at the store?
Most of his music is mellow folk-ish stuff. I find it to be very relaxing.

At Barnes and Noble. You can listen to a selection of each song. Unfortunately, you can't hear very much of the song.

@phlipp: That awesome! I've never actually been to a Barnes & Noble store.
@Celdia: Indeed. Do you listen to his music?
