Metal Gear isn’t out yet, so predicting the future is difficult. It might be an awful game or it might be the best game I have ever played (I highly doubt that because MGS1 hold that title currently). All I have seen on MGS4 is trailers and they have all amazed me the game looks stunning and the control system look like it’s going to be very easy to use. Until it’s out you can’t really tell what it’s going to be from trailer but tomorrow I hope I will be able to play on MGO beta, so hopefully it will share a lot of game aspect in common with MGS4.
My point is this game will sell millions and help push the Sony brand even if it sucks. But my friend claims it not going to. I myself haven’t seen anything of Gear 2 yet apart from some tec demos but he’s claiming that Gear’s 2 will look and play better than Metal Gear Solid 4 it may be true but he has no evidence to prove it. From what I understand Gears 2 isn’t going to look that much better than Gears did and from what I have seen of MGS4, Gears look like a Wii game.

How can MGS4 not be a system seller if its the first PS3 game to have its own design on limited edition PS3s, that are in demand.

hey lok at gta 4....it was a system seller and it wasnt an exclusive (only cause rockstar sold out to microsoft...just my opinion) so will exclusive game for the ps 3...sell the system...all i can say for now is we will see....!!

ok so NOW that metal gear solid 4 is out...and NOW we can have our opinon on wheather or not it will be a system seller...any opinions on it? i've been hearing that it has sold a few systems...maybe not in america but in japan....does it matter where the system is sold??? maybe this is an old topic but i figured now that the game is out and the one who said mgs 4 wouldnt sell any systems BEFORE the game was out....started it...i like to see what he says if NOW that the game is out...and the game does help sell a few systems if he comes on at all and says he was wrong....(but i doubt he will)

The limited one was sold out also, so I think that the MGS4 is a system seller. MGS4 is the best game out there right now I don't think that Gear 2 is going to be better of MGS4. pirate

so.. yeah.. 70,000 consoles sold in a day, thats just the bundles
