For those of you who like freestyle skating, this trick is awesome!
Double Rail Flips
What the board does: (From an HS railstand) a BS 180 spin and 2 kickflips.
tricks you need to know: HS railstands, maybe a shove it and a Ts railflip.
The set-up: you need to be in a HS railstand (duh), the easiest way to get into a HS rail for me is to hold about half of my front foot off the toe side of the board, and to have only your back toes on the heel side of the board. All you need to do is hop with the back foot, just enough to make the board tip toward you, then slide the bottom of your heel up the side of the board as it is turning and place it on the wheel. The hardest part is putting you back foot on the wheel.
Once you are in a railstand, slide you back foot to the side of the tail. where exactly is personal prefrance, the closer to the wheel, the slower the spin, but you will have more control. The further from the wheel the less control you will have, but the board will spin really fast. (A good mix of control and spin speed is the key to making it look good.)
The Flip: This is either extremely hard, or really easy. all you need to do is is raise your front foot up to get it out of the way of the board. To get the board to spin, all you need to do is put a slight amount of pressure, about as much as for a shuv it, and flick the very edge of the board with your toes straight behind you.
Landing: The most important part of this trick is the landing. many people think you need to jump really high to let it flip, but it is really just a slight hop, A lot less force than an ollie.

Good advice, I just re-learned that trick today. But, I thought it was called a Rail Varial Flip, because of the BS 180 spin the board does. Was I wrong? crying
