I want to learn a new song on guitar, but I can't think of a good one...Any ideas?

It looks like I can't learn any new songs now, because today, I learnt that I had to put together a song in like, less than two weeks. The thing is, my whole band is busy, so I have to do it all myself, even though I can only play one instrument. Worse, other friends are relying on me, because they need my song so they can make a video to it for the same class gonk . And I am NOT singing. Such the dilemma gonk

I just recorded a three minute medley on the acoustic guitar, I think I'll use it as the main riff.

I decided to make a myspace to put my music on so my friend can listen to it, because he needs it. Here is a link. I keep changing the songs on there, so they might be different to the ones at the time of this post. Currently, there's two versions of the same song: one acoustic and one electric. I'm thinking about putting an electric with a rhythm guitar on, but I sort of doesn't match up.

Really? Thanks. It's the only instruemnt I can play. Except bass, keyboard and the harmonica. Well, I guess that means it's not the only thing I can play...I really struggled to use the more complicated techniques without shredding. I think I shredded on Surf man though by accident. The ones labelled Song One may be kinda crap because they're just like, beta versions for the song for class.

Thanks! They're really bad quality though and all done in only one take, so there's mistake in them. It's not like a quiz though, I'm not challenging you to find them and I hope no-one notices thiem.

Really? They're really obvious to me. But then, I guess you've only heard one version, so you haven't heard it without mistakes. I'll jsut leave it that way.
