Any books you could suggest for me to learn it?

First order of business: Moved to programing and scripted subforum, that is where it belongs

Second order of business: If you don't mind reading books/articles online Google gives some good hits, PHP 191: PHP for the beginners PHP Tutorial PHP Tutorial . If you don't like to read books and such online O'really has good tech books for anything you can think of and reasonable prices. Here is what they have on PHP http://www.oreilly.com/pub/topic/php. Hopes this helps!

P.S. if you run into problems GodFly knows PHP and he might be able to help you, just remember to ask nicely he has been known to bite wink

A good option for learning anything programming-related is always to check out Wikibooks. They act as free textbooks and are amazingly helpful. It's a good way to learn stuff while avoiding having to pay money for pricey, O'reilly books.

The only problem with wikibooks, and why I try to avoid them, is like any wiki pages they can easily be edited so they are "perverted" and until someone catches it and rolls it back to the previous reversion. Yes this can be easily done, but should be unnecessary to learn something.

I have that book, it is ok I think it could go a bit more in depth on some topics though.
