This should have been done some time ago, but better late than never...I will make a list of NP characters in the Black Tower, in hope of preventing confusion. Help is highly appreciated.
The Dragon, Amyrlin and M'Hael are NPCs directed by moods. (read:by me). Other NPCs can be used by every player, until they respect their rank, unique personality, strengths and weaknesses and use them accordingly.
A NPC can be made PC, on request.
The detailed profiles of the characters will be added successively.
Any thoughts?

Asha'man Lavin A channeler with a quick mind and a sharp tongue, often using both gifts to a personal gain. His appearance reminds one of a rat. His pointed nose and sharp features, the tanned face with quick and curious eyes give him the look of a killer. And truly, there is something cold in his nature. Most, if not all Asha'man in the Council are merciless in the time of need, but only Asha'man Lavin is cruel and enjoying it.
He has no outstanding Talents and he doesn't excel in hand-to-hand combat. Lavin isn't a coward, but he would never fight on the front lines. He is not a leader and neither a strategist nor a tactician. And even he is a good orator, being able to turn the situation to his favor with a single word in the right time, his role in the Council isn't clear to most.
Lavin inspires fear, not respect.
Asha'man Lorkin Before he discovered his ability to channel, he was a Lord of one of the minor Houses in Tear. Only with his skill in the Game did he manage to keep his estates intact from the greed of more powerful nobles and because of that we was silently admired, even by those who opposed him.
He is strong in Power, but not nearly as strong as Dazar or even Galdan. Despite being able to channel, what makes him a deadly weapon, he still hopes to prove that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. Being of noble birth, he had the chance to study the swordfight from his early youth and that knowledge helped him greatly during the time of his training. Still, the heron-marked sword is well above him.
Maybe, had he strived for that, he could have achieved the title of a Blademaster, because he had a strong body and a quick mind, but in his mid-thirties, he was unwilling to change his path. He is a politician, not a warrior.
His dandyish clothing and civilized manners are his trademarks that often misguide those who don't know him well enough. Under the mask of vanity lurks one of the best strategists of the Black Tower.
Asha'man Branwhin
Ask XBrightEyes about him.

stuff we should formalize:
NPCs that aren't actually members of the Tower, nor work for it, but have a presence within the Tower community:
general merchants that do regular business with the Tower and/or have semi-permanent establishments within the Tower grounds Either the regural destination for Travelling supply runs, or bringing those supplies directly to the Tower by more mundane means
at least one master smith with a permanent forge within the Tower grounds Swords have to come from somewhere
at least one innkeeper with a large establishment within the Tower grounds preferably more than one innkeeper, though we only need significant detailed info on one, if that. Name, basic description (physical, personality) will do in most cases. Useful for guests/potential Soldiers/etc
standard contacts within the local community, be they governement, noble, or military.

i agree with Tedronai. Those NPC's would help create a more realistic enviroment for the RP... though how to make them known may be difficult...
