In a far off kingdom called Mathauntis there was only one ruler and one kingdom. The emperor of Mathauntis ruled his land fairly and was unopposed, by those who lived in the city. But those outside the walls of the kingdom suffered and toiled every day to bring the kingdom food and resources. Such is the way of the peasant, but fate had other plans. Ectus, a mercenary with a heart as black as night came to these villages. He promised them wealth, land, and freedom. At these words the people rallied and he soon had a peasant army which he sent to the kingdom to take it in the name of the dark gods. Now as anyone might have guessed they were slaughtered, but this is what Ectus had wanted for no sooner had they been slain then their bodies sunk into a pit of fire and despair and they were transformed into the army of the damned. Now there was two empire's, that of the emperor, and that of Ectus, the first death lord. Now they battle constantly, knight against evil knight, death lord against nobleman. But recently things have come to a stalemate and Mathauntis is cut down the middle between the two factions. The emperor is dead now and Ectus still remains ever powerful but fate has a funny way with emperors...

Gods & Magic In the lands of darkness there are only two gods but thousands of demigods. The demigods give power to a certain few which grants them the ability to use magic. But warriors and such can not use magic because they are blinded to such things. HOW EVER, you can be a spell knight, one who uses sword and spell with equal ability and you can choose to be a mage which kind of goes without saying but I have to clarify that so no one whines. But without further ado lets fill everyone in on the gods and prominent demigods.
Takara: The light goddess of the empire who does her best to aid the righteous in there fight against Ectus. The only person who can speak with her is the emperor and since he's dead the empire has no hope of ending the stalemate.
Tazin: The first son of the goddess who grants his worshippers the valor ability which most warriors have because it grants them the ability to kill the dark knights with swords instead of waiting for mages to kill them.
Nasir: The second son of the goddess who grants his worshippers swift feet and a strong affinity to magic which allows them to choose a SINGLE element to which their magic will take form in.
Lyra: The first and only daughter of the goddess who grants her worshippers powerful protection and healing spells. Naturally those who worship her also have a knack for alchemy. Priests and clerics of the empire often are found worshipping her instead of the goddess because of the goddess' disappearance.
Tonio: The wandering spirit of a fallen knight that blesses those who are neutral in the conflict with protection from animals. But when in battle with human foes the mighty rage of Tonio is unleashed granting valor to warriors much like Tazin.
Legault: The wandering thief-mage spirit that grants his speed and agility to thieves around the country. Should you choose this god you will be abnormally fast so it will be simple to get away from danger and such, recommended only for those who choose to be thieves however since its combat rewards are slim at best.
Mezogaug: God of darkness and ruler of the underworld. He is responsible for the war and speaks only to Ectus although the entire evil empire as it were, worships him. He only gives benefits to Ectus which I explain in his profile and should anyone rise to a status near Ectus I will consider giving that person benefits.
Sailus: The only child of Mezogaug and the most commonly worshiped in the open. Sailus gives his worshippers skill with weapons or with magic and will grant ONLY ONE ELEMENTto his followers as well as grant valor to the warriors of darkness. If you are evil you are pretty much expected to worship him and Mezogaug under pain of death.

Race: This is a medieval fantasy RP So that means any race that doesn't have to do with technology beyond medieval. So Elves, Vampires, Lycans, Midgets, whatever.
Side: Empire, Evil Empire, Neutral
Weapons: I expect medieval weapons and not some god given sword that kills instantly or enhances your own skill. It's powers should it have any, should only be powerful after you kill such as a soul sucking ability.
God Your Character Worships: Now for the Neutral people, you guys can worship any god. But Empire people can only worship Neutral gods and the offspring of the goddess and the Evil Empire can only worship the two gods given. Oh and don't put your god as the two main ones because by law you already have to worship your main god under penalty of death. The only people immune to the whole worship or die thing are the Neutral people, but still don't put the two main gods, they can't do anything for you.
Powers/Abilities: It is your job as an rper to decide what exactly you gained from the god you chose. If it is valor for instance describe what happens, do you go into a blood thirst rampage killing countless NPC's, or do you become more aware of your surroundings and thus become stronger. For mages, note that you only get one element and only ONE ELEMENT! I know some want two but it doesn't work that way. but on the bright side you have mastered your element so you can create your own spells. Oh and yes I count darkness and light as elements but no element is stronger then the next or it would be cheap although the laws of physics for everything else still applies.
Personality: It can be as blunt or as descriptive as necessary.
Description: A written description of your character and please go into detail but not to the point of making people sick after reading it.
Appearance: Just a picture of what your character looks like roughly. This is optional but suggested, the only reason I don't have a picture is because I couldn't find one and if you are in the same boat then who cares, it's optional.
Bio: I ask that this be a decent length only so that people have an idea of what you may do and also this is a great reference for you to look at should you either need an inspiration of something to talk about or to simply react in the way your character should in a certain type of situation.

NPC's Undead Warriors: Unlike the normal undead these poor knights have been forced to fight on the side of evil and are faster and stronger then their mob tactic using brethren.  Templar: The strongest knights in all the land, but there isn't that many of them compared to the army of the damned. But a single templar can take on two undead warriors and at least a hundred regular undead which gives them a great advantage, well unless there is an entire army, then they are screwed.

Ectus sat on a large throne of black rune stone that glowed with darkness. The room was rather dark and it would have been pitch black but two pillars with blue fire bowls at the top of them kept the room at a dim glow. His sword lay suspended in mid air at the other end of the room along with his battle helmet. In his right hand Ectus held a scepter with a crystal at the top which held the souls of those he had killed that day. He thrust the scepter several times on the floor which made sparks fly off the hellish floor and he shouted."Linwë! Our god has demanded a push on the left flank in order to take several shrines there. We would be taking a mile or two of land, not much in the scheme of things but key none the less. How should we proceed? I trust that everything you need to know you have already."She was not far, Ectus was sure of this for she always found a way to sneak up on him and appear from no where. This would have been her doom if her tactical knowledge was not as good as it was.
((basically I am leaving it up to you on how much of the enemy is there and how much we should send and so on. Know that Ectus will not be sent unless the undead army would not be good enough.))

Linwë reads contains of a spell book curiously with her left hand as she tries to summon a new water type creature with her right. Linwë focuses her power to what the book detailed in the figure and sees the energy form properly but is interrupted by her lord summon. Then in an instance the figure explosion in front of her as she her ice barrier tries to cover her but a small cut appear on her face. Linwë in turn walks through the wall of the library that is cover in ice and appears suddenly beside her lord. “My lord you summoned me, what is it that you need. Ah I see, a mile of two of land. So there are about 1200 beings there and about 400 to 500 being soldiers at least. I suggest sending 1500 of your soldiers my lord just in case there are some of the enemy soldiers that are concealed in that one or two mile radius. Or if I am sent with your troops my lord I would only need 1100 of them.”

Ectus thought for a moment and then smiled a smile that could make corpses shiver. He then suspended his scepter in mid air before her just in reach but even if she had grabbed it the scepter would not move until it was released from Ectus' invisible grip."Linwë, go with them but bring 1500 troops with you. This way when you take the first shrine all you have to do is thrust this staff into the holy temple lake in the center and the monks will be tainted into converters. Think of it, as soon as one templar dies he comes back, but on our side and then another and another! Once a friend, but now a hated enemy. Oh and there is a shrine of Nasir in the group of shrines. I know you used to worship that b*****d son of that whore, the goddess. So torture the priests and seal their souls into the scepter, once the templars are all undead of course. Oh and you are to be commended, that appearance wasn't quite as alarming as your normal ones."Ectus set the scepter on the floor and his grip was released. Two dark robed figures, which could only be necromancers, appeared to escort Linwë to the troops."Remember Linwë, Mezogaug watches all and rewards those who serve him."Ectus waved her off and several succubus came in the room to satisfy their lord's desires.
((Oh and I know what all the guys are thinking, yeah, he's that cool. Also, Diao, remember that Nasir isn't an option to the evil side but Sailus gives the same benefits so it doesn't matter just change it in your profile, or say that she used to worship Nasir since Sailus and Mezogaug are a given.))

Linwë listen to her lords’ command and smirks evilly at her suggested idea was approved by her lord. Then Linwë’s eyes light up at the fact she gets to torture and kill beings but just not any beings the ones of Nasir. “I will please my lord to do his binding; to kill beings as it is but the disciples of Nasir will be more satisfying to trap their souls in this staff. The most satisfying pleasure is I get to use my new spells on their bodies. I felt not to give my lord an alarming appearance this time.” Linwë smiles at her lord evilly before walking towards the staff and taking a hold of it firmly. Then she turns around and kneels to her lord. “I will not fail my lord and the gods. I promise to leave an icy trail of destruction.” Then Linwë gets up slowly to stare are her lord before turning around. The she walks with each necromancer at her side as she stands in front of the 1500 troops. Linwë shouts, “Your Lord, Ectus has order we take the left flank today. To destroy a two mile radius that holds shrines and other pathetic beings. So onward troops, CHARGE.” Linwë starts her journey to left flank by summoning her water dragon Aranel.

Linwë sees the shrines she needs to destroy in the distance. “I will taking care of the beings souls in each shrine or converting them. So to not take the shrines soldiers until I am done but destroy everything else in the way.” Linwë shouts at her troops and jump off Aranel as she reaches the steps of the first shrine she bites her thumb on her left hand and draws a line through the tattoo on her right summoning her water elementals. She walks up the shrine steps smirking as she watches the chaos and destruction created by he troops. As each step she takes she uses Icy Veins to freeze everything in the shrine including the beings. Linwë starts to feel a bit weak by the holy powers of the shrine but ignores it and continues to walks to the center of the shrine. Then as the icy veins slowly take the victims she hears screams which is music to her ears. She takes up her lord’s staff and sets in the middle of the shrine and the staff powers start to take over. The frozen monks start changing into converters as the icy veins spell wears off. Linwë pulls out her Lúthien and slams it into the ground to change the temple structure into her liking as an icy dark temple. As the change is completed she takes Lúthien and the staff given by her lord and walks out taking an icy step as she goes to the temple of Nasir.
((okay then. This is how far I will go for now.))

((You should just finish it, Chris won't be online much so s**t like this shouldn't depend on him. Although we may have a third here soon depending on whether Eve wants to adapt one of her characters for this or not.))

Linwë says the spell for her ice shards and covers the whole temple of Nasir in ice including all other entrances except the one she is at. Linwë walks up the steps and use the spell icy veins to freeze all the priests from leaving and moving. Then she takes out her lord’s staff and stands in front of each priest holding the staff in front of her. Linwë’s eyes shine with a twisted sense of joy as the staff took each of the priests’ souls. One by one the look in each priest was different by that the look was of betrayal, sorrow, hatred, torture, and terror. As Linwë finishes up killing each priest slowly she sees a poor ten year old boy terrified by her destruction of the priest and the temple. She walks up to the boy and pulls him from the front of his shirt and raises him quickly to her eye level. “Well, well, well what do I have here? A small boy who is scared and terrified, pity you must die I must leave no one alive.” Linwë drops the boy and summons up her arctic wind and see the boy become a frozen statue. She walks out of the temple and sees blood and corpses all over the place made by her troops. “We are done here lets us return back. ONWARD,” Linwë shouts and gets on Aranel and goes back to the castle.
