Down in a dark, abandoned burrow alongside a dirt path sat an aged Umbreon, bowing his head in slight boredom. His striped ears recieved the sound of rain coming down harshly on the ground outside. He would have preferred to make it back home with his nepphew, Jekyll, and his mate, but the storm had come faster than his paws could carry him.
"They probably need some time alone as it is," he sighed, showing some faint hint of a smile. Shion lowered himself down, settling his eyes on the faint light coming from the den entrance. As he calmly hummed to himself, waiting for the storm to let up, he thought of who might be stuck out in those cold, wet conditions. 'I pity those poor souls,' he thought with a light chuckle.

A bit further away from the storm's main wrath, where things were little more than just a drizzle, another male was hopping through his favorite field of tall grass. The only thing one in the forest would be able to see was the black halo floating just above his ears. Baird turned his good eye towards his den, frowning a bit at the thought of heading in. Sure, it was raining, but he was having so much fun! Besides, if he was going to be a Leafeon, he had to get used to liking water... or something like that. Without thinking of any other excuses, the patchy pelted Eevee ran off, bending the grass down as he walked.

 THe faint drizzle poured on the light blue umbreon, blurring his eyesight. What a perfect day to rain, he commented to himself. He hesitantly traveled down the damp dirt path. It was muddy in some spots... The umbreon sighed, mud flying when he tok random steps, coating in fur. "Fabulous. Simply fabulous," he retorted to himself, settling down under a large plant, hoping its elephant leaves would cover him and not drip on him.. His pale eyes stared at the horrid weath, anxious to see it leave. "C'mon..." he whispered, hopeful. Perhpas he could continue looking for his twin sister, Latte, who magically seemed to dissapear a few days ago. He was so lonely.... The sorrowful umbreon flicked his tail and sighed. "...I wish my life just end sometimes..!" --  ((USE YOUR IMAGINATION TO PRETEND SHE'S AN ADULT. ;DD )) The skeleton resembling eevee gazed at the field a distance off without interest. She was so bored... No more friends, it seemed. Brun and her went their seperate ways... She didn't mind to much. And Baird.. Were WAS Baird? She hadn't seen her childhood in forever. She shoved her face into her arms and yawned. "Booo-riiiinnnggg!" she excalimed without enthusiam. THe same repetitive days... The eevee stood up and stared at the field and a black floating object... A halo. She widened her eyes. Could it be? Her eyes flashed to the memories of Baird, the same size as her, with a black ring aboove his head and black wings to match floating near his back... "Baird!" she exclaimed, diving into the field.

Shion yawned after a few moments, happy enough in his cozy, temporary den. For no real reason, he decided to get up and look out at the weather outside. The rain, though unpleasant to stay out in, was rather beautiful. His eyes squinted in an attempt to keep out the water as he stuck his head out of the den. Even with this slight disadvantage in his vision, the Umbreon spotted a light blue and black blur sitting beside a large plant. Without hesitation, he decided to offer aid to the young male if he wanted it.
"Excuse me," he shouted over as he completely revealed himself, ignoring how drenched he was becoming. "Would you like to take shelter with me? It is much warmer than that plant, I believe."

Baird jumped a bit, surprised to hear someone shouting his name. The voice was familiar, and even though she was no longer a kit, he knew who it was.
"Kawa! So glad to see you it is! ... Er, hear you!" The patchwork Eevee began to jump around, attempting to spot his old friend through the grass he so enjoyed to walk in. His excitement was almost amazing, even to him. It seemed like forever since he had seen Kawa, and he was very eager to reunite with her.

Cocoa's eyes flickered towards the source of the voice. He stared at the silouhette for a while, taking the shape. An umbreon. The body color looked likea white or grey... He couldn't tell.
"I guess," Cocoa mumbled, grunting slightly as he gathered himself up. "Who are you...? Name, I mean. Mine's Cocoa," he quickly said, stringing the words together uneasily.

Kawa couldn't help but trot over... Laugh... Grin... Her eyes gained an unearthly shine. "Barid! Baird!" she kept exclaiming over and over. Her tail swung back and forth rapidly in a rhythum. Her eevee didn't mind the tail grass tickling her belly and circling around her paws and legs as she forced herself threw. She only apused when she was within a stride's distance between him. "I... I missed you so much! I haven't seen you in like... Forever!" She couldn't help but loud a silly grin.

"My name is Shion," the other Pokemon said across the noise of the rain. He was curious of this other Umbreon, who looked so unfamiliar from what his old eyes could make out through the hazy, wet air. In any case, he showed no real signs of suspicion, and so there was no need to mistrust him. With a nod of approval, he continued, "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Baird's one good eye was nearly forced to close when his own stitched smile forced itself up his face. "It's been way too long! Looked for you I have, but... I don't know where you live." He laughed in a way and gave a slight shrug with the demonic wings that hung over his back. His own tail almost matched the speed of Kawa's wagging, and he couldn't help but train his eye upon her white face. Where would they start? How could they ever catch up on the time that they missed from each other? Truly, Baird had been away from his best friend for too long.

"I guess," Cocoa muttered, sighing heavily. He shook his body in the rain, allowing some of the mud to come off. He then quickly jogged to Shion, his tail flicking absentmidedly. "So where is this shelter of yours...?" he said quietly. The rain poured down heavily, drumming against his ears.

She grinned. "Haha.. I've been moving around... Barely ever home it seems. I should have tried harder to look for you." She grinned, reveaing white teeth that was the same shade of her bone markings. "So what have you been doing all this time, huh?"

"It's just over here," Shion replied, slightly quieter than before. He pointed with a paw, in the direction of the burrow, before leading the way. In all truth, he wanted to hurry; he could feel himself beginning to shiver from the cold water showering from overhead. No doubt this poor young Umbreon was suffering from something similar, or so he believed. After ducking his head below the mouth of the plant-covered shelter, he trotted to the back and shook himself off. Then, with just a slight grin on his white face, he looked towards Cocoa.

"I've been doing the usual! Getting chased away from stuff, hopping around... Looking for you, eating, sleeping... I'm afraid, nothing too exiting. But you! What've you been up to? Fun, I hope!" Baird made a small, exicted squeal as he waited for her reply.
