In honor of all the plants and animals that have MIRACUOUSLY survived to this day, I've decided to make this forum for all our photographers (anyone who has a camera and some film, or a digital one). Since all of the local anoles are sleeping right now, and my pet isn't exactly native, I'm going to wait until my little friends have had their rest and leave the geckos alone...

There are, like no trees or animals near by native to Southern Nevada. I'll find something though. Unless a picture of my nephew counts. lol

lol, not even cacti and reptiles, and how about desert scrub and secretive scorpions, lizards, snakes, crickets, spiders, grasshoppers, and birds count too................... sorry if I wandered off a bit, I'm just nostalgic of my travels and all the things I read about in my reference books. Here's to finding life in the desert!
I shoundn't have any trouble with finding life in my area, I just need more species of lizards, like some skinks and that glass lizard I found last year...
btw, I'm going to see if I can get some of my Dad's photos scanned and try to post them, and my 6 inch crayfish too.

 This is a picture of a freshly caught and released glass lizard, I had to "move" him in order to get a good photo, lol  Look at this beauty, I found this female broad-headed skink basking by my grandma's kitchen door, she was so relaxed that I took the picture BEFORE aproaching her...  The biggest question for lizards in the modeling business, pose or run? This young female green anole was asking herself that very question...  BEHOLD, THE CAUSE OF THE MISSING AZELIA FLOWER PETALS!!! I guess some anoles can't resist, like this guy here...

I'm not going to pretend that I took this picure, but this is a native tree to Nevada (and I think the desert in general) It's called a Joshua Tree.

now, at long last, I give you our well established little friend, the Turkish Gecko! BEHOLD, I HAVE GECKOS IN MY ROOM!!!! (worry not, I didn't harm a single scale on their delicate little bodies and released them where I caught them)   BEHOLD, THE MOST COMFORTABLE BLANKETS THIS GECKO HAS EVER HIDDEN IN!!!!  So comfy it has an after effect xd  still sleepy...  well, he's up now!  and here is the girl from the next window with him  Also I found a few geckos outside my window!   and for the grand finale, I give you the BABY GECKO!!!  hope you enjoy these fresh new pics from my house!
