Appearance: Short and tanned, with unnervingly pale skin and hair as black as oil, Senda's eyes are dark brown. Her face is surprisingly hard-set for someone of her size, but nothing about her is astounding, and the eyes have been known to slide right off her and onto the next person in line more than once. She is easily overlooked. At least until she speaks, and her Lady Holder lineage becomes apparent. Her only defining physical features are a number of thread scores on her stomach, when Soamith returned from Between badly, one their first flight. She nearly died.

Personality: Senda was once upon a time a cool, calm leader-to-be. But, enough time around the passions and whims of dragonkind has turned her into more of an impatient, unforgiving wherry. She has a reputation for expecting perfection and never praising it, and goes around rudely wakening everyone in the weyrling barracks on time for their lessons- though, really, she considers it a favor, and wishes someone had woken her up early enough to avoid drudge work and missed teachings.
Senda does have a vicious dislike of Bitrans, viewing them in a fantastically prejudiced fashion. The only one she'd ever met before Dovan had been a young bronzerider desperate to catch Soamith in flight and claim the young woman's political connections. Then, their general behavior during and immediately after the cataclysm had been appalling. And so, it will take quite a level of effort to make her see anyone she defines as "terribly Bitran" as anything but a pain.
Short History: Once, she was in line to become Lady Holder of Thread's End Hold. The irony of Thread's return was not lost on her. Just eight months before the Cataclysm, she was searched for a hatching at Southern Weyr. After nearly a week's deliberation, she determined to stand on the sands, certain that nothing would come of it. Her distant nature may be attributed to that fact that she was the only Weyrling to survive the cataclysm- thanks to Soamith's unusually large size for a green- along with only a small handful of Southern's mature riders. Occasionally, her upbringing as a leader, and perhaps ruler, shows itself, and she speaks out of turn against riders much older and more highly ranked than herself.

Dragon Name: Soamith
Dragon Color and Appearance:Green. Soamith is exceptionally large for a green dragon, easily as big as the average blue, but with the same flexible agility of her smaller counterparts. Soamith's hide is the same shade as the Southern ocean on a clear day, though her left wing has a disturbing, scorched hole that refuses to heal, possibly due to it's diameter, where she returned from between badly on her first flight. Senda gained similar scarring on her abdomen.
Dragon Personality: Soamith might be described as a balanced opposite to her rider. Where Senda thinks things through, logically and quickly, Soamith often loses her patience. She is excitable, and enjoys surprising people by speaking to them without warning. Often, she is the first dragon that nonriders have ever heard from. Her focus wavers easily, and she is also easily startled, leading to sudden voyage between when Thread returned, though neither she, her rider, or her clutchmates had been trained in the business.
