Back by popular demand, and because we now have so many enthusiastic members! Remember that you don't have to take the theme literally - feel free to interpret it as you please, as long as the connection is there.
The theme for April and May is 'FOOD'
Rules
Any media is fine, whether its clay or material or spaghetti xd
At this point I'm trying to keep things fairly open, so even if you think of something that isn't strictly 'sculpture' just post it anyway, as long as it's crafty smile
Please post any entries or discussion about the theme in this thread.
You can post as many theme related works as you want.
Progress shots and planning can go in here as well, you don't have to wait until it's finished.
If you're prefer not to be critiqued please say so clearly; otherwise expect that you might get it.
If you're using patterns or heavy references not of your own creation, please site them and link if possible. The actual work itself must be done by you.
This isn't a contest - it's just a theme for fun and to see how different people interpret it. There is no prize and no need to be overly competitive.
Good luck everyone! I hope we can get a good number of people participating smile

I have an idea for some foam food magnets. I am going to work on them later today. Maybe take pictures as I go so others could make it as well.

I must make a plushie cake! Or something. *is starting too many projects at once* Good theme! heart update: because everything else of mine is going so slow, here is a piece of happy birthday cake made out of playdoh . (I'm having a heck of a time finding any kind of clay in the local stores, but I had playdoh randomly laying around. Not a lot of good color options.)

I'm in the middle of making a pattern for Miso, the adorable little soup-headed alien of Katamari fame. I've got to say, though- making a bowl out of felt is NOT an easy task, especially when you're trying to stuff a tiny rabbit's head into it. EDIT: Not a REAL rabbit head, of course. Bun-buns = <3

Whoo Katamari! <3 I recently beat the first game.
Very cute idea, though why a rabbit head? Is it rabbit head soup?

Oooh, these are all very interesting and cute things. I love the felt foods - neatly stitched and added factor of cute. Small cupcakes - so adorably tiny! And the actual food creations - that must've taken heaps of effort to make. Hehe, the eyeballs looking in different directions are cool.
Triple Kudos!

Yay! I love making food out of origami! For this theme, I made a half of a sandwich, a plate, a napkin, and a healthy serving of fries! Yum! Sandwich and Fries It's kind of big, sorry, but I don't really know how to shrink pictures without Photoshop (which I no longer have).
EDIT: Sorry the link didn't work sweatdrop

Chisa I love the eyeballs. . they are so detailed! I think I may enter this contest by making a wedding cake. . I have been dying to try it out and this seems like the perfect opportunity.
