For those of you interested in animation, especially Disney animation, I highly recommend The Animation Podcast.

It's run by Clay Kaytis, who has worked as an animator at Disney for a number of years now. He interviews animators (so far 99% from Disney) and gives you a great insight into animation as a career and what went on behind the scenes of some of your favourite animated features. biggrin

OH MY GOSH! How have I never found this before??? Ahahaaa...

Thanks for sharing! I love animation, and when I was younger, my dream was to be a Disney animator when I grew up (that changed to Disney Imagineer later on, and I still would love to do that...). xd

Have you ever seen the animation show at Disney's Hollywood Studios (MGM)? I love that show because it gives quite a bit of insight into the animation process. The best was when there were actually animators stationed there (I was able to see part of "Mulan" - my favorite movie in the world - being animated there!), but it's still pretty cool.

I'm glad you're so enthusiastic about it! whee
I've adored every interview he's posted and he's trying to get them out at least monthly now, which is better than when it was first started. biggrin

My dream was the same, I even went to study animation, but I was too... I suppose scared... to leave my small town life and actually try and get out there and make it. Now I regret that, think I might give it another go before I'm too old. ninja

Wow, sounds amazing, but I live in Africa... so not much access to actual studios and stuff. If I lived in the US I'd be taking every tour and watching every show available. xd Maybe someday...

Oh, I forgot you said you live in Africa. Well, if you make it to Disney World someday, that's something to check out.

As for being too old... I think the Disney mindset is that you're never too old! wink
