Soon the two girls, stopped at the edge of the fire country they took out a map, they really didn’t need one, but they need to get into Shizume’s home village unnoticed. The two analyzed the map carefully. Shizume’s home village was an island that is on the waters of the country of the waves, but belongs to the Land of Lighting. The island was small, that no one would bother to take it over, and that they would even have there own shinobi. The Island of Bukimi.
“I think we should head the land of lighting first. I’m sure they would know a way to get us safely to Bukimi, plus it might even be easier or more dangerous, considering that you’re the last Hikamoto, and you’re supposed to be the leader of the clan too.” Sakura said, tracing with her finger the quickest route to the land of lighting.
It was probably there best bet, the land of lighting owe a lot to the Hikamoto for there efforts during the war, question is, can they still be trusted. “Yea, that might be the best choice. C’mon.” Shizume said in a low monotone uncaring voice. Standing up, Shizume went ahead heading to the land of lighting.
“Wait up!” Sakura called her back rolling up the map, soon catching up to Shizume. “Hey, are you sure, you can handle this. After all, you really will be the last Hikamoto if he doesn’t come back two us.” Sakura said, she knew what Shizume was thinking, and she knew if she said his name, Shizume would one of two things… or both; a) Become depressed or b) get mad and hit something.
“Yea I can handle this. If he doesn’t come back, then he’s as good as dead.” Shizume said clenching her fist.
~A few days later~
Soon enough, the two girls arrived in the land of lighting. “Alright, lets find the closest port.” Shizume said as they walk from town to town. In about two days, the two made it to a port. “Any way to get to Bukimi?” Shizume asked the sale’s person.
“Bukimi!? Lady, you go there your chances of coming back are very slim. I suggest staying away from that place.” the man said, sounding slightly surprised by there question. Bukimi was a dangerous place and outsiders were not allowed, either its your death or being captured and killed.” the man said shocked that someone would want to go to a place like Bukimi.
“I didn’t ask what the danger is; I asked if there was a way to get there.” Shizume said her tone threatening, as her eyes flashed black an instant. Shizume was having trouble to keeping her emotions under control, which was stirring Anaya.
The man quivered slightly at the woman’s tone. “Y…yea, there is, your best bet would be to go when there’s a heavy fog. The best way for sure is under water though.” the man stuttering a bit trying to calm himself down, from the woman’s threatening tone.
“Thanks.” Shizume said turning to Sakura. “I think we should rent a boat, during the early morning head out until were a mile or so away from the island swim the rest of the way.” she said thoughtfully as she considered the option.
“Yea, that might be out best idea, who knows when the next fog will come.” Sakura said agreeing. “Alright,” she said turning back to the man, “How much for a small boat with an anchor?” she asked smiling lightly.
“2500 yen for a day.” he said surprised that they were actually going to Bukimi.
“Alright, is it alright if we pay ahead of time, and have the boat ready for tomorrow?’ Sakura asked still smiling lightly.
“Yea, that’ll be fine.”
Sakura nodded as she took out the 10,000 yen paying the man ahead of time. Turning back to Shizume she said, “Maybe we should find an inn or something.” she suggested, after all she needed a hot bath and a decent sleep.
“Yea that might be a good idea, especially some place close by.” she said turning back to the man, “Hey, are there any decent inns or someplace close by?” she asked
“There is a hot spring just a few miles east.” he said simply.
“Thanks. Lets go.” Shizume said the two walked down to the hot springs paying a one-night room. Once they were in the room, the two girls dumped there things too the floor. “Lets hit the hot spring, then discuss business.” Shizume suggested as she started to undress wrapping a towel around herself putting her hair up slipping sandals on the two girls headed to the springs. Shizume slipped into the spring, relaxing. She hasn’t relaxed for a long, long time.
“Feels nice.” Sakura sighed in happiness she floated across the water. Her hair fanning out. The way Sakura looked was almost childish, but that was her. Shizume acted like the older sister and she acted the little sister.
“It does feel nice.” Shizume said also floating on her back, the steam rising in the air making the stars and moon look hazy as she sighed.
A few hours later the girls got out heading back to their room changing into kimono the resort provided. “Alright, how do we plan to sneak into Bukimi?” Sakura asked Shizume once they were in the room, where she sat at the table. So far, there plan was to head out very early into the morning, once a mile away swim the rest of the way.
“Once we reach the island, we should be able to find a cave were we can get onto the island. If I remember right…” Shizume paused taking out a map of Bukimi and the main land. Putting an X roughly on there current position, another X on the port she drew a dotted line that went North East, “There is an underwater cave that leads somewhere onto the island.” she said circling the area.
“Alright, what about once were on the Island?” Sakura asked, Sakura was here to accompany Shizume on this mission, though she knew little to almost nothing about Shizume and her past.
“I’m not sure about once where on there, I guess we’ll have to risk it. I’m not sure how well the island changed. So my info on the landscape and such my get us killed. Once were there, best to have a low profile until we really need to strike. I just hiding out appearance and chakra.” she said. Shizume didn’t like the idea of having a low profile, but it was better than running around blindly. “We’ll look like we got shipwrecked and that the island was the closet land for miles.” she concluded. “Anyways, lets eat. I’m hungry.” she grinned, as she walked over to a table were banquet of food was laid out.
Sakura was in deep thought processing the information Shizume provided for her. “That might be our best.” she said, having a serious look about her, that was until she smelled the food. “That smells great!” Sakura exclaimed as she hastily crawled to the food table and dug in.
Once the girls ate, they soon went to sleep. Before the sun was even up, it was about 4am, the two girls took the boat they paid for. Once the girls headed for the water, they headed North East, until they were about a mile or so away from the island and started to swim. The water was chilly giving the girls a shocking awaking. Shizume, having a water-proof light spotted the underwater cave she was looking for. Motioning for Sakura to follow her, they headed into the cave. About a few yard inside, it became sandy and low enough for the girls to walk.
Taking the backpack off her back, Shizume took out numerous things that were wet since they were torn. The two were supposed to look ship wrecked. Changing clothes in the dark, Shizume wore a purple top the revealed her body, the shirt was silk, so it shrunk up to the point were it only came below her breasts. The shorts she wore were torn at the bottom, making them shorter than what they normally would be, revealing most of her long pale legs. She also changed her shinobi sandals to knee high black boots. Shizume also had to wear a wig her dark chocolate black hair would instantly give her away, so she wore a snow-white wig.
Sakura also had to change her cloths. She wore a simple pink poke-a-dot bikini top, pink with white paw print shorts and red flip-flops. The wig she wore was long neon purple, as she also wore purple contacts.
Soon the two girls walked around the cave finding there way out after about an hour or so when the sun was just breaking the sun was breaking the horizon. “That was pretty easy.” Sakura said in a childishly high-pitch voice.
“That was the easy part.” Shizume said, her tone sounded happier, a soprano child like tone.
